I don't really use itunes that much at home so there wasn't much for me to list, most of my "most played" were John Barry, Jerry Goldsmith, Miklos Rozsa and Michael Giacchino.
Most of my Williams stuff was 8 times or less.

This is probably the best news in regards to the next film.
Bring on Giacchino's score. Super 8, Star Trek, Lost and John Carter are much better than Williams efforts for AOTC and ROTS.

my point is it's a kubrick film but it's not a masterpiece. It's an overrated visual film that becomes less relevant as it ages. That is my opinion. I've watched the movie many times. Trying to find what others see in it. My opinion hasn't changed in 30 years. My initial response to the film was different because I was 9 and it probably had the best effects of any films up to that point (I was wrong about that, King Kong and the Invisible Man have better, as does War of the Worlds).I still think the shuttle is nice.

Trek is awesome, some people just have no taste.

Excellent, while there is music carried over from Die Hard, it's still a brand new score. I hated that the original DH 2 album left off the fight on the wing. There's a lot of unused music for that sequence. I wonder if Kamen scored a longer version or the scene wasn't finished and he scored a blank screen. I haven't read the liner notes yet.
But it sounds great. Now someone bring on DH 3.

Ford looked tired and bored in his first scene in KOTCS, then suddenly he's jumping around a warehouse like yoda in AOTC.

Yeah that's all we need, to have Harrison Ford do another character for the 4th time looking tired and bored.

Joey, MI IV sounds nothing like Star Trek, and if that's the case; Harry Potter = Home Alone + Hook.
My suggestion would be for William Ross to score it then the whole damn board can argue that he didn't do a damn thing and it was all Williams.

The Cheers theme song would appear to be more appropriate for the main title.
