Alex Shore reacted to Anthony in John Powell & Stephen Schwartz - Wicked (2024) & Wicked: For Good (2025)
MP3 links
I believe the full end credits piece consists of bits from
Wicked: For Good Suite
Bubbles And Rainbows (beginning)
All Around The Wicked Witch Of The East
Glinda's Speech
Bubbles And Rainbows (end)
And then possibly something from A Wicked Good Finale
So we do have pretty much everything that was in that.

It's going to be a bit janky like part 1, but this is the best order that can be achieved without editing.
Building A Golden Road
Every Day More Wicked
Bubbles And Rainbows
Thank Goodness - I Couldn't Be Happier
Backstage Confrontation
Lies In The Sky
Forest Furnishing
Governor Nessa's Petty Proclamations
Oz Is Lost
No Place Like Home
Sisterly Reunion
All Around The Wicked Witch Of The East
The Wicked Witch Of The East
Tin Woodman
Wedding Preparations
A Model Wizard
Wonderful
Monkey Freedom
Popular Wedding Music
Cages, Chaos And Cake
Lust And Betrayal
I'm Not That Girl (Reprise)
As Long As You're Mine
Cyclones And Premonitions
Requiem For A Witch
Witches Get Snitches
No Good Deed
March Of The Witch Hunters
The Girl In The Bubble
Getting What You Wanted
Ride To See Elphie
For Good
Into The Closet
The Melting
The Story Of The Green Bottle
The Rise Of Glinda
Glinda's Speech
A Wicked Good Finale
Wicked: For Good Suite
There definitely are bits of unreleased score and song reprises - for example, there's a score cue in between Every Day More Wicked and Bubbles And Rainbows. There's a short reprise of March Of The Witch Hunters in the middle of Ride To See Elphie, and I remember a nice score version of Defying Gravity somewhere in the middle of For Good.
I don't particularly like the songs in For Good, so I'm happier listening to the score in isolation.

In today's scoring business, he probably needs all the alcohol he can get his hands on.

No, and yes?
Houses of Healing has Arwen's Song edited to fit the EE scene, you can hear that a section was looped with the vocals dialed out.
The end then crossfades back into Merry finding Pippin
The CR track Grace of Undomiel has a rewrite for the Eldarion vision
The OST track Twilight and Shadow has an earlier version of that rewrite (with some stuff that was edited out/dropped/shortened)
The Rarities Archive has the original intended version of the Eldarion vision "Arwen's Song" (which ends with extra lyrics "time and tide will sweep all away" and is bookended with the choir melody as Arwen arrives in Rivendell)
The Last Debate includes Asea Aranion, which is the original version of the Houses of Healing (starting with the horns that go into that passionate string section, for Eomer's reaction to finding Eowyn on the battlefield)
There is also an alternate take of Merry finding Pippin on the battlefield in the fan club credits.
The Rarities Archive track "Gwenwin in inn" is a mockup of an early version for the Eldarion vision when it was still in TTT
TLDR:
Eldarion Vision:
Rarities:
Gwenwin (Mockup)
Arwen's Song (original version)
OST:
Twilight and Shadow (rewrite)
CR:
The Grace of Undomiel (film edit of rewrite, with further changes)
Eowyn Discovered/Houses of Healing:
CR:
The Last Debate/Asea Aranion (original)
The Houses of Healing (film edit)
Fan Credits:
Merry Finding Pippin
Eldarion chronology: Rarities Mockup > Rarities Arwen's Song > OST > CR
Houses of Healing Chronology: CR Last Debate > CR Houses of Healing

Alex Shore reacted to Monoverantus in Howard Shore's method of composing...?
For what it's worth, he is mentioned in Doug's book:
"Early in the production of each of The Lord of the Rings films, Howard Shore composed preliminary sketches of his themes. These drafts were then mocked-up on the Synclavier (an elaborate sampler/synthesizer) by Greg Laporta. Oftentimes, these early sketches contained phrases and passages that did not survive to the themes' final forms." - The Music of The Lord of the Rings Films, p. 392
Also:
"The Evertone staff tends to the logistical details generated by any such creative endeavor. The composer's newest compositions are handed off to Greg Laporta, who creates electronic mock-ups of the pieces. These mock-ups will be used in Shore's weekly review sessions with Jackson, Walsh and Boyens - they allow the filmmakers to hear the composer's work before the recording sessions." - p. 362

Alex Shore reacted to Rachael Foley in Howard Shore's method of composing...?
How I understood it was this:
Instead of the standard way of "seeing" it in sections: Violins, Violas, Celli, Bass etc.
It was more: High, Mid, Low.
So you get a lot of stacking, for example: bassoons, basses, Celli and low brass all providing low end.
