I'm going to the Tuesday show!

I've been trying to find TPM's original vinyl at a reasonable price, but I think I'm the only one here actually excited at the news of these releases! I love my record player and the power of the speakers that came with it, so hearing Across the Stars and Battle of the Heroes with that power will be EPIC! That is, assuming the sound quality is good, which is a valid concern I guess since modern vinyl often doesn't sound too great...

So is this the usual Film Night series he usually does?

No, but he hasn't ignored it. It's still unread.

That's what I'm hoping for, but labeling the new films as "Episodes" is going to make that difficult. Meanwhile, how do we even know Williams won't be returning? You never know, it's already less than three years away if they do the traditional May release.

WOW, that's too awesome! I'm sorely tempted to message him asking about his work with Ofra... you guys think it's worth a try? I doubt I could ask about her recording sessions' existence (not for them, just if they exist lol), but at least just hearing about her in his own words would be incredible...

Awww. There are a few online, I'm considering getting one. But I'd love to see what the inside looks like, etc.

Glad you were there! A lot of us were also at that show, myself included. Usually we're able to meet John as he leaves the building outside, but he didn't do it this year (my avatar is from last year's show, he's very friendly!). Hopefully next year!

What part of Worcester? I grew up in Holden! I used to work at the Price Chopper in West Boylston, and at Norton's/Saint-Gobain, DB Riley/Babcock Power, and the Showcase North movie theater in Worcester. No kidding! I go to Showcase North quite often. Small world!

6 New Englanders; me and yes, my mom, are from Worcester. And Regis doesn't post here, he's the other friend of mine that was coming. It was such a great time!

So I'm listening to the re-broadcast on the radio, and I was only half-listening to the announcer between encores, but I swear he specifically mentioned how Williams was always happy to sign autographs by the stage door. Oh, irony.

It was great meeting everyone! Listening to the concert right now on the radio, it's repeating on 99.5. At the Salute to Cowboys right now.

So in a shocking turn of events, Williams did NOT come out the stage door this year to sign things. However, the concert was AMAZING... Star Wars, Indiana Jones, all the classic stuff, plus more fun pieces, conducted by the man himself! Great fun with great people! Will post a most detailed overview and pictures tomorrow.

It is supposed to rain frequently tomorrow (though less often evening/night). Hopefully that won't impair any possible signing!

Again, not sure if I can make it, and if I can it'd be with 2 other people (my mom, and a concert-friend we've made through the years who comes from France every year).

I know I'm not much of a poster here (though somewhat long time member), but I'm going to the Saturday show. Not sure what I'm doing before the show, but I assume most of us will be by the stage door afterwards anyway right?
