  1. Does anyone else have a suspicion that Concord plans to release the Compact Discs for the "Indiana Jones Trilogy" (hopefully to be given the "Star Wars: Special Edition" treatment) to coincide with the Digital Versatile Disc release of "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" on the fourteenth of October?
  2. I have downloaded this "Sibelius". I believe it is better than "Finale NotePad 2008" in many ways, though I am too poor to afford it, and must thus use a save-disabled (of all the features to omit) demo. As for "ins".... What is this "autodidact" of which you speak? Paragraphs concerning musical grammar make my head swim circles in an Olympic Pool. Though, yes, I would like to see these "basic song arrangements".
  3. Harry Potter never seemed the "summer film" to me.
  4. Yes, yes, thank you all for your input. I have downloaded a program entitled "Finale Notepad 2008". I am now trying to understand what these "majors" and "minors" mean.
  5. Was it now? Interesting: does that aforementioned tactic pertain to a variation of the phrase that I have heard: "If you cannot beat them, join them. Then beat them."?
  6. I believe I like the first option the best. I cannot say why (reasoning escapes my mind). Perhaps because of John Williams' end credit suites.
  7. Thank you, Mr. Stefan Cosman, for the "Wikipedia" article. I saw quite a number of impressive scores.
  8. Interesting.... Now how does this "online magazine" function, would you mind telling me?
  9. I laugh at your comment, Henry Buck. Yes, let us hope that John Williams will replace this "Nicholas Hooper". His music suited the film, but is not spectacular, as Williams' scores were.
  10. I am confused. This "FSM".... It is a magazine that is devoted to film music?
  11. I could not watch [movie title deleted for the sake of everybody] without laughing and vomiting simultaneously. I believe that that film is The Joker's true origin story.
  12. I believe you are forgetting John WIlliams' score for "The Cowboys". Though I cannot purchase the Compact Disc (I do not have forty dollars to spend on one disc), the video tape I watch highlights three of his pieces for the film, which might be considered a precursor to the underused "Isolated Score" feature.
  13. Would Richard Wagner be the previous Korngold?
  14. I believe the English phrase is as follows: "If you cannot beat them, join them." On that note, I must be in a certain mood to watch the first "Alien" film. I do think that the characters in it are more believable than its sequels, and certainly more than that sequel's sequels.
  15. I did not know that it was possible to hate "Raiders of the Lost Ark". There should be a law against it.
  16. I shall now sucumb to my temptations. I do not like you anymore, Mr. Incanus.
  17. I did not like the more "tribal" arrangement of John William's theme, and the electric guitar does not bode well for the film. I will see it, nonetheless.
  18. "Batman Forever" has a certain "camp value" (is that the phrase?) to it, and I liked the two villains (for that aforementioned "camp value"), but I cannot say I liked it much. It is certainly is better than its sequel, however.
  19. I do not remember "Rambo III", but I can understand your sentiment.
  20. Ha ha, someone who shares a similar sentiment! Oh, and thank you.
  21. Would you recommend it? I tend to like his ill-received scores (I have no idea where the negative criticism for "Batman Returns" and his "Spider-Man" scores come from).
  22. I do not believe I have heard of "Missouri Breaks". I am tempted to inspect it now.
