Just got back from the theatre. Watching Close Encounters of the Third Kind on the big screen is definitely One of a Kind experience.
 
MM, please give us new soundtrack release. That's all I ask.

If, by "Theme", you mean track 1 of the 77 OST, then yes, it was never officialy putted together digitally in an accurate way. If the producers of the 93 Anthology had more time to finish the project, I'm sure we'd have a very nice sounding and accurate presentation of the "Theme".

No, the leaked recording sessions only included the Boston sessions. SL had additional sessions in LA and Toronto which didn't leak (including the film insert for I Could Have Done More and most of the choir work, hence needing the OST to assemble a comprehensive fan-edit).

The next Home Alone release will be sourced from the leaked FM signal of the microphones to the recording machines on the recording studio that are now light-years traveling away in space and was captured by aliens in 384kHz 32bit ultra high resolution and sent to MM via encoded message. And he just finished decoding it.
