  1. I've never watched a full episode of Star Trek and this has become my favorite show in.........at least 10 years? Maybe more?
  2. Cutting 100 minutes from this show and still having the full story really isn't hard. Like most big budget TV shows, there's a ton of fluff.
  3. I'm surprised they didn't port X to a popular console and make something different, using X's port to tide people over.
  4. The only problem with that is movie wise it's not much better, and they hired the biggest names in movies... ...and it really seemed like they were hired based just on that and not if they were good for the job. Remember that Jurassic movie everyone saw? Hire the director! That popular Game of Thrones show? Hire those guys! Everyone liked the Lego movie, hire those guys! Remember that Americanized Godzilla? Call that director! Remember the guy who made Thor silly so his movies were actually watchable? Give that man a Star War! Now count how many of those actually made it all the way to the end of their projects, much less put out a good movie.
  5. The first one was cool. The second and seemingly the third are basically just more of the same. I wish Monolith would do something different already. Even Xenoblade X was different enough to be interesting compared to 2 or 3.
  6. First one was high production, but the original versions of God of War were way more fun. I wish they still made those. Everything from Playstation is this now
  7. I dunno. The first time I heard the track my mind went to Portals. I know it's not identical notes, but it definitely had a similar feeling enough for me to think of it, PLUS another person saying it was familiar sounding.
  8. Definitely not! The game plays night and day better on PC because of mouse controls. Maybe if Portal used a Wii Remote it would be comparable, but the joycons aren't up to the task.
  9. If you have a computer from the last 15 years it can probably run Portal.
  10. Zzzzzzzzzz I play Nintendo games on my Nintendo console. Nintendo is still having tons of trouble getting new games made, huh?
  11. The only argument you could say is that he didn't have it in him to finish off his friend when he was burning and pathetic like that. ...but when he gets another go at it, having seen what happened when he didn't kill him? THAT'S unbelievable. I get not being able to go through with it the first time, but with all the murder and misery throughout the galaxy at Vader's hand, he had to this time.
  12. I'll put it in tags for now in case other people aren't interested in hearing, but...
  13. Are we allowed to talk about spoilers that never came true now that the limited series that won't be a limited series for long is over?
  14. Like full 88 keys? We might have an extra, believe it or not.
  15. We just watched that scene from Revenge of the Sith yesterday again and I realized only recently that it was unused in AOTC. I guess I was so used to the track from listening to the AOTC soundtrack so much before Revenge of the Sith came out that it just felt not special because it was technically reused music. The same thing happened to me with the Anakin Defeats Sebulba fast string section and Mace Windu starting to fight at the arena.
  16. The characters look all wrong. It's like they put a TLOU 2 skin over the mocap of the first game and called it a remake with no consideration for how old the characters look.
  17. Between this and the Grand Inquisitor being killed here and in Rebels...and I think in The Book of Mando with Yoda's lightsabers, can we assume this so called story group was just to give a job to someone's friends as opposed to keeping track of canon?
  18. Really? That's an impressive one, if so. Really backs up my theory that lots of big websites have bots writing their articles.
  19. IGN spends more time sucking Disney off than they actually do covering video games. Pay them no mind.
  20. When we get stuff like this and Overture to the Oscars, I end up appreciating his weird concert pieces like the Violin Concerto and Highwood's Ghost a hell of a lot more. God bless the man for writing such wonderful music so consistently at this point in his life.
  21. You have to remember that this is a video game from a different time. During this time, film scores were more like this too. Something like Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga has the dullest, bad imitation John Williams music you've ever heard. That is, when they're not abusing John Williams's music in editing.
