  1. Yeah, it seems like Traveller's Tales has the same problem that Telltale Games had before they went kaput. Their games are churned out so fast and the quality of the product gets lower and lower as the engine gets older, it risks losing money after awhile. Granted, a Lego game with licensed everything is more appealing than modern adventure games and will last longer, that's probably why they went crazy with a new engine for Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga. It's a LONG time coming, and I'm sure it was good for costs to not have made a new engine to this point, but look at how sour you are on the game because of how poorly it works.
  2. It's a good game, but if you're trying to find something that's less stressful playing co-op, that's definitely not the one! Is Dimensions the toys to life one or another one? If it's the other one I'm thinking of, it seemed like one of those that did well on the name alone but nobody talks about if it's actually a good game.
  3. I thought I was introduced to Batu Sener via Homecoming but now I look online and it is saying it was all Anthony Willis. That's really weird.
  4. SHOCKER! I'm much less excited for it, God of War, and GT knowing that it has to be able to run on PS4 too. I really find it hard to argue that Nintendo needs to up their hardware game to move forward when the two other major platform holders don't either.
  5. Oh, you can. It's not super clear but it's doable. Sorry, Captain Underpants!
  6. His score for that How To Train Your Dragon holiday special was great.
  7. Easy mode is getting a cat suit and a tanooki suit in reserve and if you die, you just restart the game to get them back. Those two make the level WAY easier.
  8. I voted wrong. I meant to vote for Stalin.
  9. As the years go on, it gets harder and harder to find something good.
  10. Huge meh. Love the Revenge of the Sith vibes near the end, though.
  11. I wouldn't be surprised if that's all it was. I was even impressed that he remembered Luke and Leia after all those years, especially when he says he never goes back to his work. Either that or his Across the Stars comment is just him not wanting to looking like a complete nerd remembering every little thing he's ever written.
  12. Can we have a serious discussion about how Williams doesn't remember which movie Across the Stars is from but somehow remembers the Hyperspace motif 40 years later to use for a quick cue in The Rise of Palpatine? Do we really expect that he remembers these things on his own when he can't remember a major theme from one of the movies?
  13. I took a liking to the piece a lot faster than I have most of Williams's concert work. I think a few of you who weren't sure about it the first time will like it more with subsequent listens. Mutter as a performer just doesn't do it for me at all. Too much screeching and jumping around musically with not enough soul.
  14. TFA is probably possible but I don't think TROS has had enough leak to really make a great edit. Too much would be missing and from what I remember sitting through the movie, most of the really good stuff was hidden behind the super loud sound effects.
  15. It is. The main point is that money talks. That's what it is at the end of the day. There's almost no additional value to Nintendo Online on Switch for $20 per year versus free on Wii U, but people pay it without even thinking.
  16. Nah, the real way to do is is to speak with our dollars. Memes never got us Mother 3, but spending money on Earthbound Beginnings very nearly got us Mother 3. ...that's a different issue, though.
  17. I think the cause is justified, I just think the method is a bit dishonest. Doesn't change the fact that Nintendo's "online service" is pathetic.
  18. Yeah, and I think you don't realize that I agree with you. I'm not talking about IF Nintendo should do it. I've said it's the least they can do. I'm saying the people who are complaining that if they don't, there's absolutely no way to play these games is just them being cute.
  19. As usual, we're agreeing but I'm trying to make a more nuanced point. The fact that people meme about how "they can't play old game X" because it's not on a modern console I think it just people being coy about it. The alternative ways to play, listen, watch something are SO simple and so common now that to suggest that let's say as example, you wanted to play Metroid Fusion, it's not impossible to do. It's like the people who whine that there's no Twilight Princess or Wind Waker on Switch yet (though I'm sure it'll come). Either buy the previous console, the one before that, the one before that, or emulate it which isn't hard with Dolphin.
  20. Yeah, my point is just that I can't tell if people really think they can't play something without an official release on the most recent console, or if they're just trolling Nintendo when it's so easy to pirate. As for if it's illegal or not, I think so. But look at music. People aren't pretending they can't listen to something just because there isn't an in stock and available release or streaming option for a certain piece of music. .....though I might be wrong. There seems to be the same sort of trolling regarding Nintendo not putting their music on streaming sites.
