  1. I can categorically state, with complete confidence, that we either will, or we won't.
  2. Maybe, Jay, but only three of those were Summer films. Half the budget of LC went to four (four!!!!!!!!!!) people. I don't care what universe you're from, that's gotta hurt.
  3. Thanks, for that, Jay. I suppose that's it's impossible to resurrect UA? Does Eon have any particular beef, with Sony? If not, why not stay with Sony? Whatever happens, keep 007 away from that fucking Mouse!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Yeah, there is that, but mainly, because the film is in black and white! Speaking of The Duke, I've just learnt that the score for BRANNIGAN, is on CD. Yes, the film is utter tosh, but I love it!
  5. Frankly, no, just a standard release. You might want to compare the current Blu Ray release, with an older Super Bit DVD release (although I suspect that the Blu will be better). This is brilliant! The Doctor being chased by his deadliest enemies... all 'round the BBC car park! Oh, the humanity!
  6. Nice. Dench has that "Glynis Johns" quality; someone who used to be brilliant, but, frankly, is, now, well and truly past it. You couldn't post A WEEKEND IN THE COUNTRY, or NOW, SOON LATER, could you?
  7. The SUPERMAN iso has "alternate" takes of several cues (and by that, I mean ("edited'). Don't forget all the wonderful "sessions" stuff. That jerk didn't suss what RSO meant! LOL!
  8. Thanks, again! Any idea who played on CINDERELLA LIBERTY, especially the gorgeous Fender Rhodes (in stereo, no less!)? Also, according to JW, THE MISSOURI BREAKS had only six musicians playing on it. Any guesses?
  9. I saw the DC at the cinema, in...2003, was it, or 2004? I went with someone who hade never seen any ALIEN film. She was terrified. I had more fun watching her, than I did witching the film.
  10. That's fantastic, Omen! Thanks. I knew about some musicians, as they are mentioned on the rear of the LP cover. As for the cue title: I'd be inclined to call it THE SHOT COUNTED.
  11. As far as I am aware, BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA, is the only telling of the tale to get right to its roots; that being a story of love, loss, and redemption. On that level, its packs a real wallop! Yes, it's hamier than my weekend gammon joint, and cheesier than a fuck-off block of Double Gloucester, but it truly is very powerful, and graphic, stuff. It also has a simply gorgeous end title song.
  12. Well, it is a triple-bill, but it would be worth the price of admission, just for ALIEN.
  13. the 3-disc set of BLADE RUNNER. It's so brilliant... yet so frustrating! I know it's not to everyone's taste, but...indulge me.
  14. Is anyone planning to go to the cinema to watch ALIEN (DC) +PROMETHEUS+ALIEN COVENANT? I'd like to, but, as with a lot of things right now, it depends on my finances. Personally, I'm waiting for BLADE RUNNER+BLADE RUNNER 2049...in IMAX.
  15. If you don't know shit about music-writing, then...you know as much as Hans Zimmer does. Ooh, I'm gonna go straight to hell, for that one
  16. Yes, but I was thinking more of all the source cues that have never been commercially released (the aforementioned cues on EARTHQUAKE, and TTI, for example, plus arrangements of non-JW music).
  17. That is certainly an option, as it would help to catalog all these tracks, in some way. If anyone could supply personell details, for these cues, then that would be even better. Another cue that I like is the music that is playing on the kid's headphones, in TTI. Is there a name for this cue, and does anyone know who played on it - especially the Hammond?
  18. Yes. At the dinner table, it is. If you listen carefully, you can hear that the music is SLAVE CHILDREN'S CRUSADE. I'm not sure if the little "dance" music is traditional, or JW. Anyone? Ps the "Shorty, where's my razor?" shot, is beautiful!
