It's the 40th anniversary of ABOUT FACE, this year.
'Let's Get Metaphysical' is fantastic.

I know it's not a movie quote, but...

I have a feeling it has more to do with CTS, it may be a fine studio space, but it's not Anvil/Abbey Road.
Also, the orchestra was significantly smaller, on II.

Even though Hannibal is a sequel to Silence Of The Lambs, I somehow enjoyed it as a grotesque freak show.
Agreed, Alex.
I find HANNIBAL a much more satisfying watch, than THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. It has a streak of dark humour that runs through it, and it looks better.

I feel they would be liked more, if they were recorded differently.
Agreed. The sound - even on the Blue Box - is still "small".
Imagine II and III with the LSO.

@Richard Penna, and @Tom Guernsey, which Jerry concert was that? Was it the 70th birthday, at Barbican?
As for Jerry not having a Spielberg, or a Lucas, Jerry had Joe Dante, Franklin J. Schaffner, and Robert Wise. That's not too shabby, is it?
Frankly (and not to get blasphemous, here), I'd rather have one STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE, or one PLANET OF THE APES, than a lot to Spielberg or Lucas collaborations.

Geoffrey Burgon's Narnia scores.
Damn good choice!

Even though the recording is almost 41 years old (!), it still sounds as fresh as a daisy.
I don't know if recording it direct to 2-track was intentional, or not, but it sure helped.

Which Soundtrack Albums Do You Regret not Having Purchased, when They were Available at a Reasonable Price?

I'm happy with what I have. I have what I need, and I don't miss what I haven't got. I would like more, but I'm in no hurry to acquire it.
I am content, and that means more to me than fretting over missed opportunities involving CDs (CDs! Geez Louise).
