Frankly, Jay, it's among his finest. It's energetic, tender, tense, soaring, and triumphant. In short: everything the film isn't. It's Jerry's JAWS 2.
It's also #6 on my all-time top-Jerry list.

Chris Eccleston made one series of DOCTOR WHO, for the Beeb. He only intended to make one series, and this was as a favour to RTD for casting him in THE SECOND COMING. While I have every sympathy for Mr. Eccleston, and his current condition, I am curious to know why he never mentions it, while filming ELIZABETH, or OUR FRIENDS IN THE NORTH, or LET HIM HAVE IT, or LEGEND? Why? What happened on DW had nothing to do with his condition.

I wish we had more stripped down stuff like this from Kate Bush's vocal prime.
Amazed at how she colors her voice as the lyrics direct.

THE 5th ELEMENT is among the most unusually beautiful films, that I have ever seen.

Midnight in Paris. Didn't make it quite to the thirty minutes mark before switching it off.

Whenever things go wrong (which, in my life, is quite often), I'm apt to declare "Why didn't I build in Orlando".
