I have all the Intrada Rambo III releases, and the earlier ones simply sound better. I regret buying the latest one.

I prefer that. I can't stand bright white screens with black text. It's too bright.

You guys are strange. I was flat out bored during most of Avatar 2. The younger ones just weren't holding my interest, and I'll probably have forgotten them by the time I get around to watching Part 3. I didn't care much for 1 either, but at least it hooked me from start to finish.

This movie was fun. Enjoyed it.

Just what we all wanted.

After some delays, I'm finally playing Control on PC. I did start it on PS5 a while back, but I got sidetracked with other stuff. The first thing that stands out to me in Control is it feels almost like a third-person version of Half-Life with that similar sterile-industrial architecture, but this time less science-fictiony, and more surrealist horror. Especially with those Hiss voices chanting and muttering a load of unintelligible meandering. But what's really frustrating is how damn hard this game is. The combat is friggin brutal, where enemies take about five or six hits until they're beaten, but poor Jesse only needs to take two hits before she's dead. Unfair! So to ameliorate that, Remedy introduced an "invincibility" mode within its main menu options - an admission from the developers that their game was too damn hard if there ever was one. I'll replay Alan Wake II on PC as soon as I'm done with this. I just finished playing the first game and Alan Wake's American Nightmare. Those were fun, and the latter had some real babes in it, including that sexy astronomer sheila with the pommie accent. Shame we never got to see her again.

I liked Mission Impossible 8 the most. And Eddington is the best movie of the year.
