  1. Great, looks like I fell for it as well. (Actually I listened to it on YouTube beforhand and it's gorgeous, so I had to get it. Thanks to this thread for the recommendation!)
  2. I'm so looking forward to getting my set. My first contact with this score (aside from watching the film, without specifically paying attention to the score) was a James Horner tribute concert a couple of years back, with a wonderful suite from this. Apart from that, I am going in fresh!
  3. I'd be happy to just get a breakdown which tracks to use from each the iso score and the album to make up a "proper" 2 CD set.
  4. I also noticed that it's the Robin Williams photo Drew Struzan used as reference for his poster painting. It's so crazy how much he can make it look both the same AND different at the same time. He just changes the pose and expression ever so slightly, which adds that magical Hollywood sparkle to all his portraits, I wish today's movie posters would still have that.
  5. As long as the international resellers get them in time for Christmas. My HP box (ordered directly from LLL on release) arrived in January!
  6. I do all my soundtrack purchases through Soundtrack Corner (ever since ordering directly from the labels got crazy expensive plus customs almost always added even more to that), definitely recommended!
  7. Now in full and complete, my re-arranged intro from "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis".
  8. Well, that's obviously the more exciting part of the intro. And getting it right is crucial to any Indy soundtrack. But there's several more minutes of music in that intro, including multiple renditions of the B theme. And once that's done, I'll jump straight to the end credits suite to get a feeling for some of the other themes in the game. Edit: And here's a slightly longer track, now including the "searching around" music in between, plus the B theme kicking in after Indy falls down to the next floor (in case you don't know the game). Edit 2: ... and more. FoA_Opening_WIP_v3.mp3
  9. As a first test for a possible remaster of the "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis" soundtrack (or parts of it, as it's a LONG ASS soundtrack), I got my feet wet on the opening part of the intro, trying to at least nail the Raider's March as a start. Getting the trumpets right was my main priority, and it's possibly the best I can do (using Vienna's Fanfare Trumpets). FoA_Opening_WIP.wav
  10. Got mine today (Germany), and had to pay the postman an extra 8 Euros of customs.
  11. Stephen Barton posted a clip from the rehearsals of the Picard suite for last night's concert on Twitter:
  12. At yesterday's concert in Düsseldorf, where they premiered a suite from Stephen Barton's music for Picard Season 3, I got him to sign my fake Fallen Order soundtrack CD (which I've turned from a digital into a physical fake). He liked it so much, that he sent our photo to Gordy Haab (who stayed back in L.A.) right away, who then at least signed the CD on the photo
  13. But isn't this Musio thing adressing exactly that? An improved UI for their samples? Haven't tested it yet, because I just found out my old version of Reaper isn't supporting VST3 plug-ins. So I gotta update that as well. Guess I'll wait for Black Friday.
  14. What is the catch here? It doesn't seem to be a new offer, at is shows a discount from 399 to 299 already. But isn't 399 for ALL of CineSample's material already an incredibly deal? How is this a viable business model for them? Edit: Ah, I see, 399 will be the regular price, 299 is the introduction price.
