  1. All right, right now I'm putting the "Alternate", "Opening" etc. stuff in the comments section, and I'll be splitting the multi-cue files into separate lines. Guess it will be more accessible that way. Since it will be impossible for me to insert all the new finds, everyone's welcome to add their new discoveries to the sheet.
  2. Someone edited the spreadsheet to allow the header line to be used for sorting and filtering the content... awesome! Thanks to whoever did that!! To use it, just activate the filter icon (the "funnel" icon on the right - in case it's not activated yet) and click on the little arrows in the header line. @Pieter: I've just used the cue titles used by Trent, and I have no idea which ones are the correct titles. And regarding the splitting of the tracks that contain several cues, I wasn't really sure how to treat those. What do the others think? Should those be splitted into "copies" of the file name? Maybe stuff like "alternate" or "film mix" should be moved to the comments column? The spreadsheet is open for edits, so feel free to improve on and add to it.
  3. I've added another spreadsheet containing the cues listed in Trent's RTF-file (so there's a lot of overlap with the first sheet): https://docs.google....hsejAyRWc#gid=2 Not sure if it's better to sort it by cue title or anything, but even then sorting causes the header lines to be sorted in between the other lines as well... I don't know if it's possible to "lock" lines, so they don't get shuffled around as well.
  4. How about putting the list in a Google spreadsheet? I've never used it, but I think it can be made open to be editable by anybody. Edit: How about THIS? Right now it only contains the stuff from Mark's post... so anything else has to be added yet. Feel free to re-sort it, if there's a better way.
  5. Those 5 hours plus some KotOR cues are even less than half the music in the game... at least throwing the complete rip into Winamp gives me a playlist of over 15 hours. Of course it's VBR... the most sensible way to store the music (and I think the only way for OGGs). Foobar2000 allows a realtime display of the current bitrate, and for me some files went up to almost 180 kbps. Since OGG probably compresses better than MP3, this might be roughly equivalent to 224-256 kbps MP3.
  6. What exactly was the quality of TFU2 bitrate wise? And are the two KotOR soundtracks included in their entirety? Or are just bits and pieces of them used? Probably way to early to ask This is exciting!
  7. Well, not all of the YouTube clips are released officially... but I guess they will be. Also a game rip shouldn't take too long, now that the game is out.
  8. That's just because the official SWTOR Facebook page is two days ahead of its YouTube counterpart
  9. Uhm... no, 150, as I said. 322 was the VIDEO bitrate.
  10. I've checked the 720p, 1080p and 4K versions with MediaInfo, and the audio bitrate is around 150-152 Kbps for all three files. Strangely though, the video bitrate for the 4K version is only 322 Kbps as opposed to 815 Kbps of the 1080p version. Looks like the 4K support isn't the best yet. BTW, the supposedly "4K" video (which would mean a width of 4096 pixels) is only 2K (2048 pixels wide). I guess everything above 1080p gets the 4K-flag (and apparently it's only called 4K in the file name, as the option in the YouTube player is just labeled "Original").
  11. This seems to be more up to date: http://www.h3xed.com/web-and-internet/youtube-audio-quality-bitrate-240p-360p-480p-720p-1080p
  12. You mean with a live orchestra? Since his SoD-soundtrack is only sample-based, it must be a good feeling to get your music actually performed...
  13. A lot of tracks can be found here: http://www.youtube.c...00B70E152D0304C But it will be a hell of a lot of work to find out, how much they differ from the already posted tracks... Edit: All right, a quick check proves that all of the officially posted music is included in this playlist, although each track is a few seconds longer (but probably just due to more silence before and after the tracks - at least it's not the same files, but supposedly direct rips from the game). Comparing them to the OST shows that - at least at first glance - all of its music is included here as well (although the majority of the OST-tracks are combining several of the cues). A quickly assembled playlist (i.e. throwing out all the OST tracks and most of the "officially posted" ones) results in a playing time of almost exactly 4 hours... pretty impressive! (even if about 50 minutes of it are just those crazy ass cantina tunes) Since Jesse Harlin said that there's about 5 and a half hour of original music in the game, there's still some stuff missing here. And adding to that, it's also containing music from KoTOR 1 and 2 (let's hope in full, as the quality wasn't the best in those games) and from the movies. BTW, I find it absolutely amazing, what cast of composers LucasArts has assembled for this... I mean, Griskey (KoTOR2, TFU2) and Harlin (TFU1, Republic Commando) alone would've made fantastic music for this, but adding Lennie Moore to this (Outcast!!!) is really ingenious. They're really blowing out some money for this thing... and I'm not interested in the game itself in the slightest
  14. That is an edit, where the music editor took the 3 fanfares and duplicated a few of them and then crossfaded the duplicates into the originals to end up with five fanfares. Which is, by the way, a musical moment in the film that I absolutely LOVE, even if it's an edit (it felt like a Spielberg idea anyway).
  15. The main theme from "The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall", brought from MIDI by me via EWQLSO Gold and Reaper: http://soundtracks.mixnmojo.com/temp/dag_3%20-%20Main%20Theme.mp3
  16. If you're using Firefox this will help: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/
  17. Slytherin Combat: http://soundtracks.mixnmojo.com/temp/SlytherinCombat.mp3 Get to Potions: http://soundtracks.mixnmojo.com/temp/GetToPotions.mp3 But the whole thing is far from being finished...
  18. What makes you think a live orchestra was used? As the description says it's all sample libraries.
  19. He just said that they aren't broadcast OVER 5.1... so 5.1 yes, more than that, no.
  20. Jesse Harlin himself told me, so I'm pretty sure it's accurate. He was asked if he had any interesting unreleased content to include in the collection, and he was just like "Well, how about 3 CDs worth of music?". Also the MI2-soundtrack (which in-game consists of severeal snippets that get mixed in real-time through iMuse) is pre-mixed of course, to offer somewhat of a "listening experience". Also the Amazon-description lists the soundtracks under "All-New Monkey Island Special Edition Collection Bonus Content", whereas the remastered music per se is listed under the general features of the games.
