  1. I'm very sorry that you lost your cat Stefan. Losing a pet, is losing a family member. It's not losing a pet is like losing family member, because that would be untrue. What does someone in your family do: they love you, they listen to you when you have problems, and they're always there for you. A beloved pet does all of those things, and that makes a pet a member of one's family (even though they're not blood related to you). Anyway, I hope you're feeling better. You'll always have your fond memories of your cat to carry with you. -Jason
  2. I have not seen the film Saving Private Ryan. When it came out, i was too young for the content of the film (strong war scenes), and my mom wouldn't let me see it. I just want to know what everyone thinks of it before i see it (that is if my mom let's me  ) , and if it's worth seeing, (and how gory it gets). -Jason
  3. But if you didn't know that he composed the music for Scissorhands, would you still dislike it? -Jason
  4. You don't have to be. But that part in Edward Scissorhands is very beautiful and could make someone cry who's not a fan. -Jason
  5. What's that supposed to mean? I'm sure I'm not the only one who cries when they listen to Elfman's finale to Edward Scissorhands. -Jason
  6. Yeah, this topic probably has been beaten to death, but i'm just interested in knowing what are some of your favorite movies scenes that you have ever seen. They don't have to be scenes from Jw scored films, but from any movie in the history of movies. I have to say that one of my favorite movie scenes of all time is the scene in "Big" where the characters Mr. MacMillan and Josh are playing the large piano with their feet in Fao Schwartzs. -Jason
  7. Yeah European. People who live in Europe. -Jason
  8. What you said shows that the stereotype that all european people dislike americans is true. -Jason, who has to watch his back from now on because the europeans outnumber the americans
  9. Wow, that's a stereo-type if i've ever heard one. -Jason
  10. But it's John Williams, I'm sure he can get anyone and anything he wants. -Jason
  11. I hope he does those movies. I can't think of anyone else more suited than him to do them. -Jason
  12. I think i know why Director can't log on. When i didnt log on for a couple of weeks, the mb registered me as an inactive user. Director, if you see this and haven't figured out how to log back on, email me at jazzbaritonejp13@aol.com and i'll tell you how. -Jason
  13. Specify by what you mean by that. -Jason
  14. Just a reminder to any who are interested that there will be a marathon of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "Temple of Doom" on July 4 on AMC starting at 11:30am. And the name of the marathon really is "INDY-pendence Day" by the way. -Jason
  15. Hi. This doesn't mean that I'm back though. -Jason
  16. Let's see..... I've always been a big fan of the Star Wars and the Indiana Jones movies. So a couple of summers ago, I kept watching the movies over and over again. I found that I really liked the music in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and asked for the cd for my birthday. Since the time that i got it, I've been collecting John Williams cds ever since. -Jason
  17. I have returned to this thread. Actually I haven't been posting on the board that much, which is the reason for my absence. And by the way, I can't wait to see Minority Report, and get the score. I think it's going to great. -Jason
  18. Sorry again, but that's one of the most ridiculous statements I've read in a long time. I agree with Ricard. Sony is in the business of making. They're not going to miss out on making alot of money just to spite the fans, and give themselves a bad reputation -Jason
  19. I like the original Yoda the best. I didn't really like Yoda in TPM where he had the mustache, and looked differently a little bit. Maybe because I got used to the original Yoda, I didn't like the change of the newer Yoda of TPM. -Jason, who doesn't have anything against mustaches
  20. That is INSANE. I'm not paying that. What are they stupid?? Do they really think that that many people will actually pay $70 freaking dollars for a DVD?? -Jason, who will have to wait 10 years before it becomes available on ebay for $5, and hoping it will in fact decrease and not increase in price
  21. It's a three way tie for me between "the Desert Chase", "In the Idol's Temple", and "the Basket Game". I just love all of them equally, I can't pick which one I like more. -Jason
  22. Who has ever seen the movie "Legend". All I know is that it has the devil in it, and my band director wouldn't let us watch it on the bus on our way to Virginia for our band trip (one of the kids brought it hoping to watch it). The kid said it was a "classic", and my band teacher called it "junk". -Jason
  23. First of all, I would be ecstatic just to go see him conduct in concert. If I ever met him, I would probably shake his hand, probably start to drool on myself, and than if i'm not still completely in shock, I'll hold out my Indy and the Last Crusade Cd insert for him to sign. -Jason
  24. That's a slap in the face if i've felt one  -Jason
