  1. HONESTLY!!!!!!!! You would think I would know the difference since I have watched Shakespeare in Love, Pride and Prejudice and Bridget Jones's Diary!!!!!!!!!!   banghead

    Ummm....aren't those films chick flicks?

Stefancos- delighted that they started airing The Gilmore Girls again :music:

  2. I don't understand how you can get it through your heads that no one can create a new musical style every time they write a piece of music.  It's not possible.

That's not true really, what about the really agant garne (sp?) composers?

And some of those things are not just nods, but plagurism :jump:

    Don't you mean Avant Garde?

    Stefancos-

  3. First of all, sorry Ricard that i am using the MB for this...yada...yada...yada... (and yes, i know me have a private message function)

Roald, can I send The Fury to your old adress, or is it no longer valid?

    Please let me know ASAP.

Stefancos- ending this public service message. :jump:

  4. I'm sorry but you are mistaken.

You are talking about Balance of Terror, which is indeed a great episode.

The Enterprise Incident is the rather mediocre episode were Kirk is disguides as a Romulan to steal one of their cloaking devices.

The episode is ahead of it's time in that the Romulan Commander is a women.

Unfortunetly in those times high ranking Romulan officers seemed to have been dressed in mini-skirts and go-go boots.

Still, it's not as silly as Spock's Brain

    Brain and brian...what is brain?

    Stefancos-

  5. No I'm not joking. BTW, Moonraker is also my favorite Bond score.

finally you are talking some sense, it's my fav Bond score too, actually, it was the first score i ever owned

:) 'Moonraker - The Definitive Edition' (Home-made CDR featuring the complete score + source cues, in chronological order)

PS. The unreleased cues are taken from the VHS, what did you think? :P

I think you are a very desperate man.

Stefancos- who is sure Ricard had a similar home made boot of TOD YEARS before Takis took a crack at it.

Stefancos II- who thinks FLIGHT IN SPACE is utterly brilliant.

  6. The Living daylights, shallow attempt to cash in on the "blaxplotation" craze, good stunts, dull story, serious lack of scale (looks like a TV film)

The Man With The Golden Gun, slightly better, mostly thanks to Lee, the fine locations and good stunts, somebody please shoot Nick Nack & J.W. Pepper.

The Spy Who Loved Me, best Moore Bond film, epic in scope, great villian, great bond girl, great stunts and locations, even Moore is good in this one.

Moonraker, good effects, great score, utterly ridiculous story written to cash in on the Star wars craze, boring Bond girl, Bernard Lee looking like he's gonna die soon.

For your eyes only, Good one, tight story, accaptable Bond Girls, good ski stunts, nice humour and a pretty good villian.

Octopussy, Not bad, great role by Jordan, Maud adams is boring as Pussy, LOL uneasy mix between the more serious style of For Your eyes and the antics of Live And let Die.

View To A Kill, pretty bad film, remake of Goldfinger, underdeveloped villian, poor acting by Tanya Roberts, Moore looking very much to old for the role.

Nice roles for Patrick McNee and Grace jones, what a waste of Chris walken's talent.

Stefancos- who thinks only 2 or 3 Moore films were actually good, and thinks TND is VERY good. (and TWINE is even better)

  7. 1- Connery, no doubt about it

    2- Brosnan

    3- Dalton

4- Lazenby (not nearly asa bad as everyone says he is)

    .

    .

    .

5- Moore, low point of the franchise, if i wanna see someone raise his eyebrow i'll watch classic Trek.

Stefancos- who thinks the Moore Bond films are generally the weakest.
