Some comments after first listen
 
Powell sure didn't let the theme go to waste. It's quoted like every 10 seconds
I don't like some of the RCPish percussions, such a sharp contrast between Track 1 (Williams) and track 2( Powell with RCP orchestrations)
Don't like another rehash of TIE fighter Attack, because we just had one in TLJ
I think Williams helped compose Lando's Closet , because it's too good and elaborate compared to the rest of Powell's score (or his other scores I've listened to)
I also think Williams wrote another theme that sounds ( almost exactly)  like the Jurassic Park Jeep motif (Mine Mission, Into the Maw at 1.22)
The only theme I noticed from Powell is the short one from the TV clip after the Asteroid Chase quote (is that Chewy's theme?) , and it's wasted because I only heard it twice

It says Adventures of Han is 2 themes of several Williams wrote....

too bad Murphy is stricly a sound guy and doensn't  seem to have any interest whasoever in expanded releases, almost like a corporate suit with technical knowledge and clueless  as to what fans want at this point
 
clearly he could have made it happen

Unfortunately the dialogue and sound effects seemed even louder than it normally was in the movie,  and in some scenes where Elliot was talking/screaming you couldn't hear the music much. Or during the cue Losing E.T. with all the medics talking. The orchestra was playing loud too, so it felt like a duel between the 2.
That was my disappointment about the concert ,
 
 But the score performance was excellent and did shine in the key moments like E.T.'s Halloween and  Adventures on Earth which was spectacular
 
They used THe Flying Theme concert version for the credits instead of the real End Credits music
 
I'm comparing to how low the dialogue and sound effects were in Harry Potter in Concerts , where they really let the  music take first place

Live  Concert Version: 6 minutes
 
 
i'm not sure what it is, but ithere's going something to complain about and leave us bitterly disappointed with what' s on the c.d. There has to be.

Baby is more Goldsmith in his mid-80's prime, the guy who wrote Poltergeist  and Night Crossing.  Congo and Ghost are in his declining years where his orchestrations are more sparce and his music more rhythm driiven

Reading the Powell article it seems Williams was a lot more involved than we thought and Powell wrote most of the score based on his themes
