Maybe Williams wrote this a while ago and that's why the original version is removed from the catalogues
 
I don't think he could have put this on TLJ OST, because  it sounds a lot more like  on of his concert hall pieces compared to the original

Well it's certainly the most unexpected Williams piece of all time

It almost seems like a new theme in some places
 maybe that's why I hear echoes of Elegy for Cello and Orchestra, I mean with Han Solo dying in n TFA and Carrie Fisher dying  in real life

It's true that theme doesn't really get inspired variations in TFA and TLJ, especially compared to this now
 
And now we have this in crappy sound quality recorded from a phone, and it's still great. now imagine a studio recording to fully hear that majestic new ending

This new arrangement debuted Wednesday, January 31st in San Diego, conducted by Williams himself, as an encore.  You can read @KingPin's description of it, here.

 really? i think it's one of his better ones

saw the movie another time
 
I noticed most of the unreleased music is in the middle of the film  during the canto blight sequences, Luke and Rey around her "second" lesson and the flashback sequences,  and the scenes dealing with Poe trying to stop Holdo's plans. Lots of cool action music and fanfares for transitional shots like the medical frigate getting destroyed I think... I also noticed one really nice variation of the resistance march .
 
there's also a heroic version of Rose's theme when Finn and Rose escape the first order ship after the battle with Phasma

Everything about The Last Jedi is better than The POST including the movie itself

I think The Shape of Water is a rip off of E.T., the Extra-Terrestrial, a film that deserved to win a 1000X more 35 years ago
