    Boyang Jin from China, currently in 4th place in the men's event, will be skating to music from Star Wars in his long program tonight. The program starts out with Mars from The Planets and then goes into the Star Wars selections. Here's a video of his winning performance from another competition: In the Ladies Event, Satoko Miyahara from Japan will be skating to Memoirs of a Geisha for her short program:

    I'm sure you realize there's a 99% chance that Brian Tyler will be at the John Williams concert, so you may be lucky/unlucky enough to run into him anyways. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend the JW concert. Good luck getting tickets everyone!

    The Annie Award is an American award for accomplishments in animation and this year's winners were announced yesterday. Link

    John Williams is going to be 86 in a few days. At the time the concerts were announced, I'm sure JW thought he could physically conduct the entire concerts. Over the past year, he's cut back on conducting complete concerts because he can't physically do it anymore without damaging his health. Speaking only for myself, I'd rather have him healthy and composing music for a few more years than wearing himself out conducting complete concerts.
