Eight years old - just about the right maturity to understand them. Whenever we get to DoD, it’ll be the first time for all of us.

mstrox got a reaction from Yavar Moradi in Scream Franchise (1996-present)
They kind of had to shell out for Campbell after sloughing off all of their main “young” cast recently. I’m glad they’re paying her what she’s worth.

I don’t think there’s an understanding there of what a “trigger warning” is - it’s not a warning for a rando moviegoer to not watch due to the content (that’s what the MPA rating system is for, which she is not critiquing). It’s a no-effort courtesy to people who are legitimately impacted by whatever is being warned about (and the rest of us can blissfully ignore).

He’s been having occasional estate sales and whole-collection sales over the last year or two (managed via spreadsheets!) but he’s formalized it into a business now.

Spaceballs! Maybe my last true holy grail. The darned thing was discounted pretty heavily before it left, but I just didn’t bite.
Two that would have been on my list until yesterday: The Reivers OST and FSM Paper Chase/Conrack, just rec’d through Lukas’s latest sale at what I’d call reasonable prices. As far as I’m concerned, my Williams collection is acceptable as of yesterday - I don’t have things like Lost in Space or Time Tunnel expansions, but I know enough from the older CDs that they’re not for me.

mstrox reacted to Tom in Mark Graham just picked up a John Williams sketch and is "in a rush"! Any ideas?
Turns out it was just a Door Dash order for Thai Curry. Williams was a bit confused on the process.

mstrox got a reaction from Gabriel Bezerra in Andrea Datzman’s INSIDE OUT 2 (2024)
Yeah, she’s been on Giacchino’s team since well before Inside Out: Part One. She’ll be an acceptable continuation of Giacchino’s soundscape for the original movie. She wrote the music for the recent Up shorts series, if you want an idea - she’s able to adapt Gia’s stuff and ape his sound.

I’ll be the supportive voice for you. They’re fine, but they’re just okay Powell scores imo. I have to say, the first score improved for me with the expansion. Not enough for me to have bothered listening to the expansion for the second one yet, but I think it clarifies the structure of the score a little bit.
