  1. But the orchestrators must have more work with Goldsmith's scores than Williams's scores since they get credited on Goldsmith's albums, correct? ~Harry
  2. Yes, we have plenty of news regarding this topic. But we don't want to share it with anyone  Do I need to be a member of the exclusive "user" usergroup to find out this information? ~Harry :spiny:
  3. Speaking of rescoring, didn't someone mention a great while ago that Williams was tinkering with the Indy scores and they may receive a re-recording? Anything new on this? ~Harry
  4. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Mr. Courage orchestrate a great many of Mr. Goldsmith's scores? Does Mr. Courage not orchestrating mean "the Jerry Goldsmith" sound is going to change or has changed? I haven't heard any of his scores lately, so I don't know. ~Harry
  5. I think we can debate on whether or not many actors could make a great Dumbledore, but when we see this new Dumbledore in action is when we really can make a fair assessment. ~Harry
  6. I thought the ending was changed after test audiences thought the t-rex should make a final appearance after not being in much of the movie after the car scene. ~Harry
  7. Really? I wasn't aware that there was incorrect information on that site. Do you have examples? ~Harry
  8. Who's doing Jerry Goldsmith's orchestrations now that Mr. Courage is not? ~Harry
  9. Try this thread for starters: http://www.jwfan.net/modules.php?op=modloa...iewtopic&t=1530 ~Harry
  10. When is he scheduled to premiere his horn concerto and the Walt Disney piece? ~Harry
  11. We can only hope it gets released in a complete version. ~Harry
  12. I think we can all agree that Williams should have one for Superman, Raiders, and Empire. As we all can see, it's not always the best score which wins; it's whatever score happens to be the most popular that year. Looking back, voters can see these three scores made an undeniable mark on film scoring and even society. But oh well, what do we know, we're only fans. ~Harry
  13. Thanks, Erik! ~Harry, who loves all the helping people here
  14. Oh, ok, guys, thanks for clearing that up. ~Harry, who likes the Ghostbusters commentary
  15. I agree about not seeing the shark -- it provided more suspense and drama. This makes me think of two other movies with creatures that aren't see during some or most of the movie. The first movie, Jeepers Creepers, and the second, Signs. In Jeepers Creepers, it thought the movie was more suspenseful when you didn't see the creature, but as soon as the creature was seen and was visibly part of the movie, I thought the movie went downhill from where it was at the beginning. In Signs, a huge suspense and drama is built by not actually seeing what creature is causing the havoc. We can here them and at a couple points see a leg and a brief glimpse of the alien on the home video, but the absence of the aliens visually speaking creates a huge mystery factor and adds dramatically to the movie, much like it did in Jaws. ~Harry
  16. I'm not too familiar with commentaries on DVDs. The only commentary I've seen is the one on the Ghostbusters DVD, where most of the movie is playing, and at the bottom are shadows of Ivan Reitman, Harold Ramis, and another guy. They talk through the movie and comment and joke about certain things. Is this what you all are talking about for Indy? ~Harry
  17. Don't forget, once a month we get a continental breakfast. ~Harry
  18. That is a great track. Makes me wonder what an entire Judge Dredd score by Goldsmith would have been like. Alas, all we have is that one small cue, but what an exciting cue it is. Neil Is this cue available somewhere for listening? ~Harry
  19. I think we get a burning eternity, but I'm not entirely sure. ~Harry
  20. Hmmmm, I'm a bit skeptical about letting in this enemy. ~Harry
  21. I believe it was changed for when someone is looking at a movie store for the Indy movies. Temple of Doom and Last Crusade are together, but Raiders is far away, so I guess people are too lazy to go to the R section to pick out Raiders. With the title changed to Indy and the Raiders, all three movies are in the same location, so no one has to do any more work to find them all. ~Harry
  22. Actually, I do have both of those scores. ~Harry
