Back to the Future had an album with Silvestri music on it and at that time he was not considered "mega-wattage".

James Whitmore has passed away of lung cancer. Most willl be familiar with him for the role of "Brooks Hatlen" in The Shawshank Redemption, but also shares a credit with JW for his role in an episode of "Checkmate".
I only remember him in Tora Tora Tora and Shawshank but always thought him to be a good actor.

Last year saw the release of the Superman blue box set and the long awaited/highly anticipated Indiana Jones: The Soundtrack Collection box set. With these releases and the popularity of the LOTR: The Complete Recordings over the last few years would this be enough to convince Universal to release a similar style box set for Back to The Future? It's wishful thinking I know but could 2009 be the year of BTTF?
So will we see ANY new box sets released this year?

I'm trying to arrange Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade into order but am taking the tracks from about 4 seperate sources (The Soundtrack Collection, Disc 3 and Disc 5, Vol 2 The Unreleased Music and the 2 disc bootleg).
To spare me hours of going through each track can anyone tell me which tracks I need to include from the bootleg and the bootleg Vol 2? Thanks

iTunes has digital booklets with CD purchases, I always thought that included whatever came in the actual booklet if you were to buy the CD.
My question is.........Digitized or digitalized?
Digitalized sounds much better. Is there a difference?

you have got to be kidding, absolutely kidding, that is one of the worst ever, EVER. Its extras are crap. We deserved so much better.
The only thing it's missing is deleted scenes.
A little over one hour of special feaures for three movies didn't really have me jumping with excitement.

Ben Hur, and Aliens are superior.
I liked Ben Hur because it also included the 1925 Ben Hur as well and probably wouldn't be otherwise available. I'm also glad that they released this version because Charlton Heston does some of the commentary.

I'm glad you think so but IMO they were sadly lacking and could have, SHOULD HAVE, been so much better. The same goes for the Original Trilogy Star Wars.
I haven't got the version of King Kong you refer to, Mark although I do have a single disc, cheaper copy of it. I recall seeing something a while ago about a (then) newly discovered print that is lighter than the standard print commonly available and shows much of the details hidden by the darker prints. Is this THAT print?
Kingdon of Heaven (4 discs) is another DVD choc-a-block full of features. Well worth it in my books.

I've edited Temple of Doom just before Saving Willie because I feel it is appropriate that the heriocs should start as the evil, represented by the vocals, reaches its cresendo. I doesn't feel right to me to have Saving Willie straight after Short Rounds escape.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that in TOD Nightclub Brawl is missing the band rendition of Anything Goes? Also is Out of Fuel the full film version as it doesn't sound like it is after one session of listening to it.
