It's one of the best shows ever but yeah it isn't for kids. 
 
 
No idea. I didn't even play S1 or S2 because I watched those on superior DVD. It's too late now to return them. I tried 3 different Blu-ray players. 
 
 
Quality of Mad Men on Prime is great. I don't want to buy them again only to find out they won't play either.

I saw KOH in the theater and was like most people disappointed. I remember mostly blaming the star of the movie because I felt his character didn't work. I later read numerous times that the DC made a big difference and that it actually turned KOH into a pretty good movie. That's probably the reason why I decided to watch the DC and I'm glad that I did. It's a different and much better movie now.

In the meantime I find it kind of boring, when the powerful empire is always shown just greedy, cruel, merciless and stupid.
 
I would rather like to see such a rebel story with an empire appearing smart with good intentions starting off fine, but then later things getting out of hands, old conflicts breaking open, each side having a moral justification for what they are doing but running into a spiral of violence.
 
 
That is why for example Thanos in the MCU was such a great villain. Because he had basically good intentions.
 
But this looks kind of flat... and a bit too expensive to be that flat.
 

Looks a bit old hat to me and the main characters don't seem to have a lot of appeal. 

Seen bits of the trailer. Feels like a Nordic crime thriller, not a big fan of those. But yeah, critics seem to love it to death.

To let the score compete with the sound effects is often a directorial decision. 

I hated all the sobbing at the end. Who does Nolan think he is? Spielberg?!

Thanks! Checking out now. Those opening tamtams in the first track immediately reminded me of Budd's GET CARTER, but this came out before that film, if I'm not mistaken, or right around the same time.

Drive? You mean the pacing? Story? I'm not talking about that at all. Alien is in that regard a way more conventional movie. Nothing special. A haunted house/slasher movie set in space with the pacing of a haunted house/slasher movie.

This album sounds like a '70s movie score. Check it out, guys! It also features another one of my mystery Kosmos tracks. The audio quality is pretty amazing as well. Hard to believe it's from 1971. This album together with their previous album 'Wild Sanctuary' are apparently critically acclaimed.
