Your entire plan is predicated on people actually caring about the film.

    Marriage Story (2019):

The film managed to 'surprise' on one point: Adam Driver. I've always been in doubt about his role in Disney Star Wars, but here he surprised me. In fact, I dare say that Adam Driver is the reason why you should see this movie.  And yes, although it is not an outright remake, sometimes Marriage Story is reminiscent of Kramer vs Kramer, but that is probably hard to avoid. About the song "Being Alive": This scene is the other highlight of the film. I did not know this song from adam (pun intended) but immediately recognized that it was from Sondheim. 6,5/10

Is Marriage Story the Kramer vs Kramer of 21st Century?

Is Adam Driver the new Dustin Hoffman?

I didn't even want to watch this trailer because the first one was so plain & dull. I would be surprised if this one is better since it's made by the same people.

He does, even though he doesn't know who he is, and people want him dead. Perhaps this confused certain viewers because they believe there is only one correct facial expression for a certain situation?

We Eurotrashers prefer The Bourne Identity, where Bourne feels more human, identifiable, and where the movie is more about atmosphere than it is about theme park rides. Right, Steef?

Well for starters, only recent theatrical releases make it onto Blu-ray in my country - things like the major franchises, big budget spectacles and box offices hits. Don't expect anything arthouse or older than five years ago, unless it's a huge crowd-pleaser like E.T. - and even that is changing.

So anything that does not fall in the categories I've listed has to be imported, meaning it's much more expensive. Our currency has plummeted over the last ten years and the cost of living is increasing by the month. 5, 6 and 8 Euros with postage is very expensive when converted.

Add to that the fact that Blu-ray never really took off here, at its height you'd be lucky to find a store or rental place stocking more than 50 to 120 titles max. Most people here are happy to rent the latest release on DVD or wait for it to show on satellite TV, or pirate it. Collectors are very thinly spread. There's hardly any secondary market.

First Worlders, you guys are very spoilt, enjoy it and spare a thought for those on the arse-end of the world.

The Crown S3 Episode 6. Yep, the actor who plays Charles is terrific. The moment you see him is the moment you accept him.

Splash was the last Howard that had a freshness to it, i don't mind his general whitebread-ishness but from 'Cocoon' onwards he often favoured the kind of engineered Hollywood slickness that can work you over once in a while but mostly it is just that (sometimes he did nastier stuff by accident, as in 'The Grinch'). Though 'Solo's problems have nothing to do with that.

The barkers name was Buck. I'd seen him around. Bryant must have upped him, to the Dog Runner unit. That gibberish he spoke, was gibberish, a mixture of woofs, growls, howls, what have you. I knew the barking, every good owner did, but I wasn't gonna make it any easier for him.

    Live and Let Die

Roger Moore is in the house and suddenly things are a lot crazier and a lot more fun. Not to impugn Sean Connery's work, but Moore has a certain charm and effortlessly cool swagger that makes him my favorite Bond. Just look at him smoking a cigar while flying a hang glider. What a badass!

All of the other debuts for new Bonds played it safe, even if they were doing something different such as the origin story in Casino Royale. That's not the case for Live and Let Die. It's as wacky as they come and frequently not what you would have expected going on. It still has all the Bondian trademarks and it also has one of the best chase scenes ever, nice American locations and more black people than you'll ever see in a 007 movie ever again.

From Bond's posh pad with coffee maker and babe to the gritty streets of NYC and the bayous of Louisiana, it's incredibly cool, sexy and completely entertaining. 007's escape from gators and crocodiles is another highlight. The only thing missing is Q.
