Yes you did. That comment was not in reply to you. As I pretty much said in my first sentence: I do not disagree with your points. This whole [off topic] dispute simply stemmed from Jason's falling over himself in a hurry to make some big huge point (in his head) about the great injustice and hilarity of my emailing a PDF to my iPad. A fucking PDF. It was a trivial act on my part, LAST YEAR no less, but no, Apple MADE me do it - they pointed a gun at my head and said, "EMAIL THAT PDF DOCUMENT TO THAT IPAD NOW BITCH! YOU GOT NO CHOICE IN THIS MATTER BECAUSE WE OWN YOOOOOU! DO IT, DO IT NOW, EMAIL MAIL THAT SUCKER, EMAIL IT AND DON'T YOU EVEN CONSIDER ALTERNATIVES, DON'T YOU DARE!"
I know people can be anal here, and I try my best to bear that in mind, I really do; but the great JWFan PDF Email Scandal of 2012 took it a step to far and I had to make a stand for all PDF emailers across the world.

I don't understand why alternative rock stations play it along with STP, Incubus, Disturbed, Pearl Jam, Shinedown...and Gotye.
His other songs on the album remind me of the same. Gotye is the artistic lovechild of Sting and Peter Gabriel.

Wrath of Khan or Poltergeist on the level of E.T.? Really? I know we're fanboys here, but let's be realistic. E.T. is better than all of these.

Mine arrived today. My God it sounds absolutely glorious! So many details and nuances that I've never heard before. Goldsmith's finest work has been given new life. La-La Land have really knocked this one out of the park!

They should leave it at T2.

I wish someone once wrote an original script for a blocbuster, which is not a reboot, sequel, prequel or a tribute, or even tied to any known piece of merchendising. That I would watch gladly.

Doctor Who Seasons 1 and 2: Pretty darn entertaining, quite a nice surprise to me actually. Despite being a sort of anthology show full of most bizarre stories that range from outlandish to just plain funny scenarios the series is quite addictive. Eccleston was not bad as the main protagonist but I would say David Tennant is just made to play the Doctor, such a great mix of humor and profundity with a twinkle in his eye. The structure of the series enables really an infinite variety of flights of fancy but there are some great emotional episodes thrown into the mix that deal with more serious matters and there is almost always some large or small moral to the episode and the subject it is dealing with. The slightly bad effects (those do improve over time) are part of the fun of the stories and do not take away from the immersion. Fun and entertaining.

OK. I'll start since my evening ended much earlier than the rest:

I arrived in Boston in the morning and spend the late morning and early afternoon hanging out. I talked with Jason on the phone a few times to confirm where we will meet. Jason and his girlfriend met me by Symphony Hall.
We walked and chatted to a place called Boloco where we could sit for awhile. Then we made our way back to Uno's by way of Newbury Street. Stopped into a couple shops.
Uno's was great - people started slowly trickling in. Jason and I had beers and chatted about LOTR while Marcy got ready for the concert. Next came Slambodog (Steven) and obiwan71 (Sylvain). We had to hammer out some Canon vs. Nikon camera comments. I was outnumbered unfortunately. But Sylvain's camera had some AMAZING photos of Williams conducting on them. Then ETandElliot (Justin) and ??? (sorry can't remember) came and handed out some MOO cards of Williams. JUST as I was leaving Foxfan (Francis) arrived with friend??? member? (can't remember this either).
I caught the train back just as their evening was starting. They were ALL very friendly and personable for sure. And NO I wasn't drunk LOL
