ESB SE is nowhere near great and a mess but unlike RotJ, it's listenable.

It's dynamically fucked and sounds like you're listening to it underwater.

Since I've been revisiting Voyager lately, a show I've always loved, I was very excited to see Seven at the end.  I wanna know where Janeway, Paris, B'Elanna, The Doctor and the rest are!

I too like how things are going. HOWEVER I am absolutely annoyed by the amount of type of language (f bomb gd) and how often it's being used in this show.  That type of language does NOT belong in Star Trek.

Roddenberry would have vetoed the casual racism by Federation members, or the androids killing. And the depictions of suicide!
 
 

Picard feels closer in spirit to Discovery which is also closer to Abrams' Trek.
 
I thought the second episode was better, things are beginning to move, slowly, and before anything gets going, it's over already. Grrr. I miss TNG where two characters would just talk in an office or on a monitor and not cut between them to make for a Sherlockian scene. Just simple scenes, cheap sets, that what I love.
 
 
 
 

Marketing for Dark Fate definitely screwed up. It seemed woke AF. But upon watching the movie I thought it was alright, no PC agenda at all being forced down my throat - just a good, over the top action flick.
 
I don’t really understand all the bad reviews either. Sure it’s not great, and it underperformed at the box office,  but it was entertaining, fun and kept my interest throughout the movie - which is more than I can say for 90 % of all movies I’ve watched the last couple of years.

Hearing the f bomb in Star Trek Picard is VERY VERY disappointing. Especially after hearing it TWICE in Star Trek Discovery. No way in hell would Roddenberry have allowed such a harsh word to be used in Star Trek and Kurtzman knows this very well.
 
Yes we get it, swearing (even f bombs) is part of our every day culture. You hear it almost 24/7. 

Hearing the occasional, "Damn it (or damn)", or "Hell", or "What the hell?" and the very first real swear word "Shit" in Generations was fine. However dropping this out-right now THREE times spread across TWO TV series is just down right stupid and is NOT needed in Star Trek. It does NOT belong in Star Trek!

I bet Gene is turning in his grave right now.

After the last twenty-five years of Star Trek I think he's lost the energy at this point!

The swearing in Discovery was ultra cringe and completely immersion breaking. So it's disappointing to hear that apparently Picard features similar language.

Nemesis is a badass score. Loved cranking that one on the hifi.

Seems like something that should just be left alone. It was fun on DS9 for a couple episodes (if rather ludicrous in the last one), but they're supposed to operate in the shadows, like black ops. Leave them in the shadows.

I hate you for sharing that. I'm going to go sob in a corner for the next three hours.

Agreed. Russo is one of these new composers that are getting a lot of projects, but I simply can't get into his music.

That's one of the problems in this century: people seem more concern in finding political meaning to art than appreciating the art itself; and it doesn't make sense. Also, I hate when people just assume that Europe, which is quite diverse because is a fucking continent, is jus a big place full of only white people...

Actually it'll say "Music by Hans Zimmer" but the booklet and or IMDB will say "Additional Music By" and the ones who did "additional music" are the ones who really did the score.

Edit: I really wished they had brought David Arnold back or at the very least a better composer like Brian Tyler or someone else who would do score that won't be just noise and really no theme.
