  1. That back design is really frickin' cool. Well done! If I still listened to CDs, I'd be downloading and printing it right away. :spiny:
  2. I guess my response was lost in The Purge. I have the existing release already, and don't know the park well enough to want anything else specifically. Sorry I can't be of much help, but good luck with your project.
  3. I ordered from Amazon, paid $41.99, and got it on the release day. No store can beat Amazon. And regardless of how long it takes to arrive, saving $20+ is a big deal for some people (yours truly included). And though I haven't been posting much in this thread, I've been reading it right along, and have to say that more obnoxious than the people complaining about the release are those complaining about the complainers. Who cares how much someone else enjoys the set? If you don't have any problems with its indisputably flawed presentation, that's great (personally, though I recognize the various missteps, most don't really bother me). But feigning such outrage with regard to some of the legitimate concerns people have been expressing reeks a little of self-righteousness.
  4. Yeah, me too, and I still got it today! Didn't you? Do I need to make a call on the red phone? Dammit, Mr. President. I have yet to receive mine! The last update from Amazon/USPS tracking is that it was scanned in Allen Park, MI on Tuesday morning...evidently it takes several days to travel an hour and a half. I did get a refund notification for $3 because of the lowest price guarantee, though. Ray Barnsbury - living vicariously through everyone who's gotten it
  5. Exactly. Some of my favorite moments of the show are when we get to see a glimmer of Michael's competence through his overall idiocy. As far as Dwangelandy (yeah, I went there), I really have no idea what to expect. They're getting married on Dwight's beet farm now, for God's sake! Who knows where this will go. One thing I miss is getting to see as much of Angela as we have in the past. Maybe it's becase she hasn't had as many talking heads lately, but it seems like her character has been reduced significantly this season. As for Jim and Pam....I really like how they've reintroduced some tension in their relationship. Sure it was nice when they finally got together and everything was perfect, but my favorite JAM moments have always been the subtle yet heartbreaking ones from Season 2 (the Booze Cruise's 27 seconds of silence, the Christmas gifts, the season finale confession/rejection, etc). It'll be interesting to see where Pam's art takes her, after that conversation with her school friend - who, by the way, I'm pretty sure they purposely made pretty average-looking so we wouldn't see him as a threat to Jim.
  6. I've actually asked for that a few times for birthdays and such, but never ended up getting it. Anything more thoughts on it?
  7. I think it's been the strongest and most consistent season since the second, so far. And I'm so sad that Holly left! Incredibly, she was both extremely likeable and a perfect match for Michael. Great character...I hope she returns from time to time. For someone like Michael, there's probably only one person out there like that.
  8. She was drinking Dharma rum, and he asked what she was celebrating, and she said she wasn't celebrating, and then he looked out and saw the remnants of the explosion. I mean, c'mon! To echo Ana Lucia's sentiments: She's hot, he's hot...it's what people do!
  9. Evidently....the rules of this forum are terribly inconsistent, it seems! Anyway, I didn't really notice the music from The Patriot, but it did sound oddly similar now that I think of it. I wonder who gets hired to arrange a synth version of a piece like that??
  10. What a great score - and if there's more of it, count me in.
  11. As far as I know, the track "Welcome to Jurassic Park" is actually the end credits piece. "End Credits" is just a reprise of part of that track. "Theme from Jurassic Park" is a separate concert version of the main theme.
  12. I've always thought of the motif you're referring to from TLW as just a new theme for the "bad" dinosaurs, completely separate from the "bad" dinosaur (or raptor) theme from the first score. Both have four notes, but the shape and intervals are all different.
  13. If I'm posting at 3 AM, it means my dog's asleep and the gin ran out.
  14. Funny, that's the exact conversation I had with the hot new girl at work today.
  15. Yes, "Skate" is seeming like more of a viable outcome to the triangle. Although a shirtless Sawyer and Juliet alone on the beach, with a bottle of rum??
  16. Hook and Harry Potter (SS before PoA), I suppose.
  17. Stunning! A masterpiece! Indy4's work is done.
  18. The one that Koray posted a few posts ago, or something different? Now that I think of it, regarding the promo, I hope that having Aaron around doesn't hold Kate back at all. When Claire had him, she kind of stopped having anything interesting to do. Damn kid.
  19. The special features on the Season 4 DVD should be really interesting. In addition to the score feature, there's a faux-documentary on the Oceanic Six and the mystery behind their rescue (done like one of those Discovery Channel docs). I saw a bit of it on YouTube and it seemed well done.
  20. I think it's probably just playing on the characters'/audiences' assumption that Jin is dead. The producers and Kim have all stated that Jin is going to still be a part of the show, though that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be alive.
  21. Yes, I saw that last week and meant to post it. Awesome promo, I nearly soiled myself watching it! "We're goin' on vacation, baby."
  22. He's still resting after finishing the KotCS score.
