In Dutch it means to run, or it's a word for a chicken coop.

I've heard the @mstrox thread is the place to go for such things.

Btw, ren also means clean in Norwegian.

    My guess:

    John Williams: The Boring Years

(Sleepers, Stepmom, and Rosewood, with the latter in a new and even more boring edition.)

That_Bloke reacted to Jay in Petition to get an isolated score on the future streaming release of ROS
I asked Mike Matessino about the chances of this and he said that "petitioning for isolated scores would be a very good way of sabotaging potential official expansions. It would send the message the The Phantom Menace: Ultimate Edition was what the fans wanted after all, and music recorded but not used could never see the light of day. Bad idea."

I don't know, it sounds super Star Warsy to me, especially at moments like 2:06, and the big statement starting around 2:50ish, culminating in that chord at 3:11.

The most romantic depiction of space I think Williams has done since Luke and Leia.

Kylo and Rey form the new order of the Summer Knights.

And apparently there's a track called "Prologue"

I now also have visions of the film opening with the voice of the late Alec Guiness saying "Previously, on Star Wars..." as we spend a hour recapping the earlier movies, and THEN we get the title and crawl. Or Ian McDairmid announces, "Star Wars was filmed before a live studio audience..."

I don't know for certain, just been my experience.  I could be wrong!

Everyone should certainly begin checking themselves in the morning:

    https://music.apple.com/AU/artist/john-williams/63748#see-all/full-albums

And if you want to try other countries besides NZ and AU, here are all the country codes iTunes uses:

I'm not sure how to look at other country's catalogs on other digital services such as Google Play, Amazon MP3, etc.  I believe you have to use a VPN for those.

OK, I'm ready anytime to see a picture of John Williams standing next to a shelf with his 9 bound scores lined up. Or maybe he should wait and bookend them with Oscars...

That_Bloke reacted to Jay in John Williams scores - by Film Studio
I thought it would be helpful to group all of John Williams' film scores by the studio that owns the rights. It helps to figure out what might be coming out by a label if they release some clues, etc.

Beyond that, it's just kind of interesting to see what studios John has worked the most and least for. And which studios have been the best and worst at licensing their properties out to the specialty labels.

This is basically an updated version of this original post here.
