My only problem is that he doesn't listen to any bits of Fabelmans score. He would have discovered at least an interesting thing or two to comment on the piano. -

You cited Dances with Wolves as a catchy theme. Well, how could you forget about it? Barry repeats it all the freaking time! -

You're kidding, right? -
I don't know if Williams would want to commit to scoring a 8-hour film at this point in his career. Even if it had a short score.

I'm guessing he could make the main titles (and maybe provide a couple of themes) for the Napoleon series Spielberg is trying to make.

- Hey John, can I copy your homework? - Yeah, just change it up a bit so it doesn't look obvious you copied. - Ok.

Ah yes, Vivaldi's famous Hedwig's Theme. -
I seem to recall that the tracking in ROTS, particularly The Arena and Duel of the Fates, was something that George requested specifically very early on. I remember Williams commenting in an interview something akin to: "I wanted to compose something new, but George wanted to use Duel of the Fates for the duel."

You're right, my apologies.

Very interesting, I've experienced something similar in my very small carreer as a short-film composer, particularly on a series project that I backed down from. Karelm, are you allowed to tell us the name of the animated film? I'm curious about it.

KFP2 is the best of the three scores and it feels the most balanced to my ears. My favorite cue is this little beauty -which I believe is by Lorne Balfe: However, if you listen to this... (watch your ears!) You'd think this is a Zimmer cue... but you'd be wrong. It's Powell. So it's a little harder to tell on this one who did who, at least by ear, compared to the first score which is a lot easier in that regard.
