Shouldn't we all be messaging them to the point of overdoing it to make a point? Like to share all of our disappointment? It's honestly bad business.
And surely with enough immediate demand they would reconsider since it was never explicitly stated it was limited.

Someone actually paid $5,000 USD, plus tax. Wow. I don't care if one is a millionaire, that's just nuts. Or did they just have more money than they can spend in a lifetime and just spent F-U money?
Did they feel silly now when there's one for $400 bid, $700 BiN? They'll doubtlessly come down some as more people get them and throw them up for sale.
I did write Disney Music Emporium and they said it's sold out and no plans for re-stocking. What a horrible marketing plan... it's an amazing thing that a company so big and powerful can make such mind-numbingly bone-headed decisions like this (and, many things they've been doing for years now).

Haha, that would be fun, and also probably start the first War of JWFan because no one would agree on how to put together the first release.

Seems like you were very lucky if you were able to check out completely. I also noticed that the CD was showing again, almost rang the alarm bell, had one in my basket, but then the out-of-stock message appeared again.

I agree with @rough cutand @Jurassic Shark. There’s no way a John Williams Indiana Jones score won’t be available again on CD. Sooner or later it will be back in print and hopefully as part of the Indiana Jones Soundtrack Collection 10-CD Set.

About a week ago I offered my opinion in another thread: there is no way this is a limited edition that won’t be reprinted. Anyone who will want to get a copy will be able to do so - without stress or being forced to pay crazy prices on the second hand market.
It is annoying for sure that it is currently sold out, but it is unlikely that this is a limited “one time” print. More copies will be pressed in the future, I’m sure of it.

I was just able to order the CD from the DME site but I'm sorry to say it's showing as unavailable again!
It was very strange: after seeing BB-8's post above I went back to their site - the Dial of Destiny LP product page - and under the "you might also like" blurb it showed the CD! I clicked the link, saw the "Add to Cart" button showing, popped it in my cart, checked out and have received a confirmation mail! I tried to order two copies in the hope I could help out another CD-less JWfan but got an error telling me there wasn't enough stock to fulfil that quantity.
So, it's either an error and I'll get a mail telling me that the order can't be fulfilled (knowing my luck...); or I got lucky and just happened to be on their site when their inventory system reported a single copy in stock. I wonder if an annoyed customer who had pre-ordered both the CD and LP received the news about the LP's delay and cancelled their order? In which case, others might follow so keep checking the site, people!

I'd to pay the equivalent of $6 extra for two CDs (one for a friend). It's a steal because I already paid it, but I'm not going to bother with it right now.
