  1. I pre-ordered Sherlock: Series 4, mostly to get that nifty exclusive Abominable Bride CD. I decided to splurge and pick up physical copies of Series 1, 2 and 3 as well so I'd get a nice bundle of Sherlock scores in the post next month. To my surprise, the first three albums have already shipped and are on their way here. Hurray!
  2. 3-channel DTS audio (LCR), same as The Fury. Saved you a click.
  3. Victim? We have the infamous first run misprints. They'll be collector's items one day!
  4. I think he meant including Revealing the Plans in track 8 on the OST, while it's actually the second of Williams' compositions to be heard in the movie. The tracklist reads as if Hammond comes up with a plan after Sarah has been rescued.
  5. You poor bastards. I've been listening to that track for over three years! Hurray for physical worldwide releases, eh?
  6. It was the first time I checked my watch during an episode of Sherlock. Ever. It was all mildly entertaining as it went along, but the whole thing falls completely apart if you think about it for more than two seconds.
  7. I just figured I'd help a fellow fan out and actually list the exact info he was looking for, rather than referring to cue lists he'd have to search through to figure out what ended up where. It was a legitimate question. Oh, well.
  8. Of course not. But at the very least I expected the next episode to follow up on the cliffhanger. You know, show us some aftermath or something. Now it's just a meaningless cliffhanger for the sake of being a cliffhanger.
  9. The Jurassic Park one you linked to above, to answer JTWfan77's question.
  10. Jay, could you make a reference thread with links to all those spreadsheets? I wanted to look this one up, but I just couldn't find it and I know there are more. They're quite valuable, so a thread with quick access to them would be much appreciated.
  11. Yes. Throwing a rope down to a main who's chained to the bottom of a well wouldn't really help him, would it? Not to mention how he just hand waved away getting shot at near point blank range at the end of last episode. What the hell was up with that?
  12. 17. The History Lesson 1-04 Entrance of Mr. Hammond segues into 1-08 The History Lesson (film version) 18. Stalling Around 2-09 Stalling Around 19. The Coming Storm 1-13 The Coming Storm (film version) segues into 1-16 The Falling Car and The T-Rex Chase 3:05 - 4:33 segues into 1-03 The Encased Mosquito 20. Hungry Raptor 2-04 Hungry Raptor
  13. I have to say the difference between these two scores is quite something. Jurassic Park is quintessential Williams. With its big, brassy fanfares, upbeat tone and romantic themes it plays almost like a greatest hits compilation. And yet the sequel score is something wholly unique in Williams' oeuvre, thanks in large part to his extensive use of percussion and textures. Pretty interesting for an original and a sequel score written by the same composer.
  14. According to Jay, it made less money domestically than it cost. I'd consider that a flop. But either way you look at it, 1941 was still a disappointment. And that was my point.
  15. Well, he did make Raiders the way he did to show he still had it in him after 1941 flopped and look how that turned out.
  16. He just means he eats a lot of beans when it's cold.
