The extended version is very cool for its novelty. The film version is more familiar. I will probably ise the extended one in my program.

If i was in charge, i would print the final files once and give it to proof readers, and then after is has been proofed, go to the printing plant. -
No, HA2 came later, but three songs are demos from Bricusse's 2001 attempt to create a peter pan musical with the unused material. Got my copy today, by the way

Really Spielberg should have kept “childhood” sung by old wendy in the film and let williams/bricusse make an end credit song with it. It would have been nominated instead of when you are alone, its beautiful, less corny and who knows it could have beaten beauty and the beast… the latter does not have that great lyrics after all. But it was Menkens era so it may had not made a difference…

Yeah it really picks up on the sentiment of nostalgia for childhood when you see it as a grown adult. that is why I like the childhood song so much.

If the movie had handled the lost boys better, i think it would be a better regarded film than it is. But it really is not a bad movie and it ticks the emotions a lot. Music is sublime

Mine will arrive torromow. But i will be out so i will probably get it by friday and the DHL site. Why the heck Quartet uses DHL for domestic shipping is beyond my reasoning. There are more cheaper companies by far, and they are reliable too.

I understood it as like maggie smith was going to lipsync julie andrews performance, and that scene was going to be filmed on the last day, so if they had the andrews performance it should have been a definitive recording…

I just read that childhood, mothers and believe are modern 2001 demos for a cancelled bricusse musical. I'm really missing the 90's sessions julie andrews version of Childhood, i would have loved to add it to the main program. Moira's lullaby is for an alternate scene of "Saying goodnight", right? Is it sung by Caroline Goodall?

On the other hand, where i was dissapointed at first as the two cues were meant to merge, in the end im glad rufios entrance is separate from the lost boys chase, so we can edit it easily with any of the two versions.

Question: Farewell Neverland (Alternate Short version) is an intended cue for a shorter alternate edit of the finale or is just an additional track that omits the middle cue created for the narrative of the 3rd disc?. Reading the liner notes implies that, but the name of the track implies the former... I suppose there was no available disc space to place the complete finale. Is the first segment a different performance or the same as the main program?
