K.M.Who thinks overall that was a better movie than AOTC.
That's not difficult. Most movies are better than Attack of the Clones.

This seems a little redundant, as we have another identical poll going on here and neither of them is all encompassing.

Just a quick question....where is "Here They Come!"? It's quite possibly the greatest bit of action scoring in a Star Wars film. It's easily my favorite scene from any of the movies.
Neil
are you referring to Ben's Death and Tie Fighter Attack? I think you are. Truely one of the great action ques of all time.
Yes, though I tend to know it as "Here They Come!" the concert name. On all the soundtracks though, it has been called "Ben's Death and Tie Fighter Attack".

The score "looks" awesome. Hmmm. You have a sense I don't have.
I was thinking the same thing.
But I am very much looking forward to both the film and the score.

The link isn't working for me. I can get to the main page of the website, but then nothing else happens.
However, you can read about it here.

Would Lucasfilm ACTUALLY release TWO movies so close together wioth Episode III in May and Indy 4 in July.
Didn't Willow and Tucker come out only a few months apart? I'm pretty sure both were summer releases in 1988.

My challenge to them is to confirm or deny this latest rumor.

Superman - The Movie with Margot Kidder!

It's from this album.

Why does everyone want Indy IV so badly? I love the films (Raiders is my favorite film of all time) yet I don't feel this great need for a fourth film. The third one ended perfectly (riding off into the sunset) as it was intended to be the last one of the series. A fourth one would negate that wonderful ending.
Neil - who would still be first in-line for a new Indiana Jones film

Joe, have you spotted Leonard Nimoy in Them!? He's the telex operator.

Happy birthday Mr. Korngold! Mr. Williams does owe you a great debt!

Ocelot is correct. We have all complained about at least one aspect of Attack of the Clones. For that very reason, the film cannot have a perfect score.

It's a solid "2" based solely on the fact that technologically it's a marvel. Dramatically it's a wash and a total waste of time.

Something like John Williams Conducts The Boston Pops. It had Star Wars Main Theme, Princess Leia's Theme, The Imperial March, The Asteroid Belt, Yoda's Theme, the Superman March, the Superman Love Theme, and the Close Encounters Suite.
"Pops in Space" is the names of the album.

To anyone that didn't vote for Vader..."I find your lack of faith disturbing."

My sister also thought Typho was Jango Fett. Sometimes this happens. For instance, the last shot of the pre-credit sequence in From Russia With Love was re-shot because the person under the Bond mask looked like Sean Connery!!! The hot was re-done with an actor with a mustache.

Star Wars and A Stereo Space Odyssey, a truly wretched album. I think I got it when I was 3 years old, few weeks before Empire Strikes Back opened.

K.M.Who has to see the film again
Better you than me.
I'm pretty sure that the Yoda music used at the end is original and not tracked in from ESB.

having his films shot in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio
According to all of my paperwork, Minority Report will be a 'scope film.

He made Raiders of the Lost Ark. Of course I like him!!!

I saw it once opening day. That was enough. I don't remember the score. My buddy has it. Maybe I'll give it a listen.

The music used during the intro was used in the original teaser trailer for Minority Report, and bears a striking resemblance to "Leaving Home" from Superman - The Movie, where Clark finds the green crystal in the shed.

Is Williams the best composer of the 20th Century?
in JOHN WILLIAMS
Posted
I went with "Nah, the guy is good and all but not the best". Most of the great composers of the century, which Williams seems to draw his inspiration, were mentioned by others. I do enjoy Williams more than anybody else, but I can appreciate the difference between best and favorite.
