  1. I'd buy it if it was all of the music that Williams wrote for the film properly assembled. I don't think I'm asking for much. Neil
  2. There are more good Star Trek films than there are good Star Wars films. Neil
  3. I'm pretty sure he wrote music for the first half of the film, up until the intermission. Neil
  4. Remember, clones can be altered. If the clones of Jango can have their behavior altered, I'm sure midichlorians can also be altered. Neil
  5. I think this is where the dreaded Midichlorians would come into play. It's possible that the clone (Palpatine) does not have a symbiotic relationsihp with Midichlorians. Of course this is all fanboy speculation, but it seems to fit. Neil
  6. A friend of mine was at the "Star Wars Celebration II" convention and he said that he saw the soundtrack to Attack of the Clones for sale on LP. Does anybody know anything about this? I haven't seen it anywhere, and I'd love to get it. Thanks! Neil
  7. Agreed. Interrupting the rebel's escape from Bespin was a big mistake. Neil
  8. "Hedwig's Theme". Neil - who just finished reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
  9. Okay, I'm going out on a limb here with this one, but I think I have a pretty good theory. A friend and I came up with this. Palpatine is a clone of Sidious. This is what will be revealed in Episode III. Sidious is using Palpatine to get control of everything, while he remains safely hidden from the Jedi. Once everything is in Palpatine's control, Sidious will kill Palpatine and declare himself Emperor. Neil
  10. Joe probably knows this, but it seems to me that Barnes and Noble has an awesome soundtrack section. Pretty much anything reasonable I can think of, I can find there (no Cherry 2000 I'm afraid ). The only problem is they are a little pricey. Neil
  11. "The Arena" seems to stick with me the most, though "The Conveyor Belt" is a lot of fun (the music, not the scene it was written for). Neil
  12. If you have the Star Trek - The Motion Picture DVD you can hear some of the score. It's what was used to score the trailer for that movie. Neil
  13. First of all, the effect of him riding it really stands out. He doesn't seem to match the shot. Also, it looks like the little scooter you see senior citizens riding on in the supermarket, something an all powerful Jedi wouldn't be caught dead on. Of course, Darth Maul flew around on a lame ass moped, so maybe Dark Jedi like to ride on dorky vehicles. Neil
  14. Another disagreement. To me it has the most seamless effects of any movie ever made. There is not a single bad effect in the entire film. It's stunning. Neil - who would love to see a 70mm print of 2001 theatrically
  15. Star Trek - The Motion Picture - Kirk and Scotty touring the Enterprise, beautifully shot and wonderfully scored Star Trek II - The Wrath of Khan - 2 sections, both from the battle in the Mutara Nebula - the crew getting ready (loading the torpedoes and running up and down the hallways) and when the Enterprise rises above the Reliant, just before the final attack Star Trek - Generations - the crash Star Trek - Insurrection - the end credits :tongue2: Neil - "Full stop. Z-minus 10,000 meters. Standby photon torpedoes."
  16. Thanks to the incredibly gracious and generous Jim Ware, the clip can once again be downloaded. Just go here to get it. Once again, thank you Jim!! Neil
  17. Indeed, off course that moment occurs in star trek 3, not 4. Stefancos- who wonders if joe's knowledge of trek is slipping. Incorrect, Steef. "S4S" = "Search for Spock". Neil
  18. Wow, how the mighty have fallen. Neil
  19. You can send e-mails to: george@likehegivesadamn.com Neil
  20. You're obviously not well schooled on your Steve Guttenberg films. Neil
  21. Justin, don't give in to hate. That leads to the Dark Side. Neil
  22. How about Episode III - Back in Training, co-starring Steve Guttenberg? And if it's not that, what about Revenge of the Sith? Neil
