  1. Too loud? Naah - its a great score, so turn it up!
  2. Hmmmm . . . . . . . . I didn't know Sony posted a list-o-winners so thanks for the link. Like Wickenstein I may be a winner, but can't tell yet. As far as I know (other than my wife & daughter) I'm the only one in Kansas with my last name and yet there's a winner from Wichita, KS with my last name and some other first name. But Scott & Jim are so close I can see how they'd mix them up.
  3. Thanks! I must have missed that one. I've now signed.
  4. I didn't know there was such a petition. Where can I find it?
  5. Thanks for the heads up! Too bad that TTT trailer is so tiny.
  6. Here's what I sent to the Ask the Jedi Council section at Star Wars.com: "Why is the Main Title for Attack of the Clones exactly the same recording (for the first 1:40) as the one used for Phantom Menace? Was a new one recorded and rejected for Attack of the Clones?" Gee, do you think I'll get an answer???
  7. I have to agree that the phone booth scene was great & the audience loved it. That was the moment when all the back story was done and it was finally time for action! The audience laughed and was very excited as he soared upward to save the helicopter. Very electric in the theater. Backing up a bit . . . I was 14 when SW came out and then saw Close Encounters in the theater a few months after, but when Superman came out that was a much bigger deal than Close Encounters. However it was probably these three movies that REALLY hooked me on Williams and film scores.
  8. Yes, the Conan score is great. Yes, '82 did crank out a few good scores. I must admit that I haven't heard all of those, but there are several that I highly admire.
  9. The clips sound great! I agree with Wickenstein - I'll buy any JW soundtrack before hearing a note. Unfortunately, I have to travel on Tuesday & likely wont get the cd until next weekend.
  10. Sure - we'd love to hear the MP3!! I'd also like to see a list of the Force Theme's use in the other films as well!
  11. From the Sci Fi's Channel's Webiste: Spielberg Mulls Jurassic IV Steven Spielberg told Starlog magazine that he's eager to produce a fourth Jurassic Park movie, though he told SCI FI Wire this week that he's unwilling to do any more sequel films. "You're talking to the guy who has got to decide, and at this point I've pretty much decided to do a Jurassic IV," Spielberg told the magazine. Spielberg added that he won't direct the fourth film in the popular dinosaur franchise. "I would hope that I could get Joe Johnston [who helmed Jurassic Park III] to direct this one, too, but it's up to him. I'll certainly offer it to Joe before I offer it to anyone else. We actually have a wonderful story that I think is the best story since the very first movie. In fact, I wish it were the third story instead of the fourth one. It came late, but it is actually the best story I've heard for a dinosaur movie since the Michael Crichton book. And I'm not going to tell you anything about it. My lips are sealed." ---------------------------------- What do you think?
  12. It is already out on DVD - has been for ages. Is this a new release?
  13. So how do we contact Sony Classical to tell them that we WANT more music from EII (or from A.I.)? I for one would happily be part of a letter writing campaign.
  14. Having her in Episode IV doesn't make sense as Leia says that "She died when I was very young." As for an Episode VI (Jedi) flashback . . . . . why would that be necessary? I wouldn't expect her to be shown as a spirit as she isn't a Jedi. Qui-Gon would be a better choice if you have to insert anyone.
  15. The ol' double LP of Star Wars (with poster). Back in '77 when I was just 14.
  16. Why was there no "All of the Above" choice?! EIII, Indy IV, MR & HPII all could be great.
  17. This is wonderful news!! How long before we all have that iso score on an audio cd?
  18. I would have to say that my favorite tracks are still unreleased! But I went for Jango's Escape. They're all great however!
