    That one is terribly flat. I had to get rid of it as as soon as I got the ARISTA 4CD Set. But RAIDERS Polydor sounds fantastic in comparison. I only bought it for the sake of John Neil Mixes. The choir in Map Room:Tanis sounds really upfront than the one on the DCC. But the Concorde edition is a mixed bag with Shawn Murphy on the controls but he is using Neals mixes as well as Tomlinson.

    Just saw this update on my Japan retailer's Arksquare email flyer:

    That's all I have. No idea why isn't CRYSTAL SKULL not part of the announcement. Don't even know if they are going to carry the  Concorde Expansions or just the OST issue. But I think this is just the reissue of the OST programe.

     

     

    UPDATE:  INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL ( also coming) according to Tower Records, Japan

    Some thing that would open doors would be of immense importance for many things and not just Williams..

     

    And some years ago I actually dreamt that I was holding a box set known as 'The OO7 John Barry Collection' and it had been produced by Matessino and Neil S Bulk.  I woke up and hurriedly emailed Bulk at that time and alas it would be a dream project for him too. 

     

    Could it be that was a premonition. .. WHO KNOWS? ;)

    It could be the long awaited Big Non JW project he had been working on. That's the Big reference I was referring to. Previously I thought that it was THE MUNSTERS LLL release but very recently in a podcast he had again referred to it as coming.

     

    So it's either that or entirely something else.

     

    There is a John Williams London live get-together happening event led by Maurizio and Tim Burden where MM is supposed to join in via online . I wonder if thats it..?

    The FSM cd was pretty awful sounding and then Varese found the superb stereo sessions and the sound quality was just mind blowing. LLL reissued it much later slight tweaks and new liner notes and artwork. I enjoyed the Rerecording but I find the performances much superior on the original sessions. A must have both.
