I think going forward as such box sets may become a reality; we may see more box sets with better packaging in the future. The recent Williams DRACULA set is an indication where Williams agency actually requested that something 'special' be designed for that set and we got a decent package on it. I'm sure at that point they had seen the designs of the HP LLL set and it must have taken their breath away. So as and when a new box set like project transpires (Indy or Star Wars..) I hope to see such Regallites to prevail.

Wow. The box looks strong and sturdy. The gold printing and design gives it all a classy look. Can't wait to hold this set. Thanks for the pics and the videos. And keep em coming.

From what I know, they have been trying secure its rights since last 11 years! And have been unsuccessful so far. It could qualify as a Most Ambitious and exciting release amongst other such projects.

I have a dilemma. I'am awaiting my Gift Certificate code. Since my country doesn't come in the paypal list in their new website payment set up; I have to ask MV to manually charge my card. Then he issues me a gift certificate and I can then place my order. I guess he is very tied up right now...so many orders..

I think this would take both John Williams himself and his agency along with Matessino to involve these big studios to get the gig going. I believe Kathy Kennedy at Lucasfilm has been very supportive and appreciate of the recent Jurassic Park set. So its just a matter of right timing, nudging and studio interests (usually fueled by the film sequels for both Indy and Star Wars saga) that could be tied in in reviving the projects.

'Future Proofing' is the new lesson here boys. Apparently he mentioned the same about the Superman project in another Tim Burden session.

Hoping for JFK and THE TOWERING INFERNO next year. Since we know LLL is onto them; I think the HARRY POTTER project and the Anniversary releases probably bumped these off (temporarily) from their current agenda. Lets hope we get these projects racing up. JFK would certainly be a good contender for the next Black Friday.

All this LLL and HP excitement has made me forget all about Williams DRACULA set. My copy is still in transit. Sheesh!

Dont bet on it

I was just marveling at this fact, that unlike the STAR WARS, INDIANA JONES, HOME ALONE and JURASSIC PARK franchises, this is the first time that HARRY POTTER franchise has gotten a straight direct Mike Matessino deluxe treatment that will leave fans satisfied and content as they can be. Right? I mean we have seen so many issues across for STAR WARS and INDIANA JONES and yet those are far from complete or perfect. This is the first time a major franchise work has be expanded and completed in the most perfect manner as one fan could enjoy!

I feel you. Same with me with the US Dollar going up. Oh its a an expensive hobby!!!

The Artwork is very classy! I'am really looking forward to upgrade in the sound quality. I think the inclusion of the source cues would have been detrimental to the whole tone of the album and keeping in view of its serious nature. Its Williams award winning score and it deserves all the regal treatment here.

This is the most majestic batch release set from La La Land ever. I just feel so overwhelmed with the the entire titles here. Incredible and to top it off.Its my 46th Birthday! What a day !!!!!! WOhOO!

Didn't MV indicate[ on some FSM thread] that one 'Super' title was delayed to early next year? I think its Superman. I think Schindler's List 2CD set is pretty much confirmed. Ah well, we will know soon!!!

My favorite rendition is the one from RETURN OF THE JEDI 'The Emperor Arrives' It sounds so regal and heavy.
