  1. Captain America: The First Avenger Licence to Kill Ladyhawke SUPER
  2. I would consider 1987 the all-time low. Like it or not, The Clone Wars is going into its fifth season. I think the brand is doing okay.
  3. Eh, I find Prince of Thieves on the clearance shelf all the time. (That darned backwards spine always stands out from the rest.) Just means it sold a lot of copies back in the day. That said, I'd welcome complete release with open arms.
  4. I had the pleasure of meeting the man just a few months ago. He signed my copy of The Poseidon Adventure. Super cool guy, and quite with it for 95 years old! Rest in peace, Ernie.
  5. Update on Schindler's List from The Digital Bits today. It won't be coming out this year after all, but instead probably next year for its 20th anniversary.
  6. A bit of Liberty Fanfare earlier.... Ooh, here's Johnny!
  7. Is there a good program one could use to get inside your dream and rip the video file from said dream?
  8. Schindler's List was announced earlier in the year as one of the films Universal is releasing for their 100th Anniversary celebration. I imagine a formal announcement for the title should hit pretty soon. For my picks, yes, SpaceCamp is up there. I've never seen The River, but it was released on HD-DVD, so surely it will get a Blu-ray release sometime. The Eiger Sanction is another I haven't seen, but I'd love to pick it up on Blu-ray, although I think Paramount is only releasing one catalogue title a month, so it might be a while. The Fury, yes please. And lastly, a film I quite enjoy, despite the naysayers: Always. Nixon and Presumed Innocent are out too. (On the latter, which shares a disc with Frantic, make sure you get this reissued edition; the original had an improper sound mix on Frantic.)
  9. I'd bet there's at least two Williamses in there (between the four labels).
  10. And there's the price drop on the TNG set. Now I'll bite. ETA: Uh oh, is there a bold tag hanging?
  11. A few of those I still haven't seen, so I can't say definitively. But I'd probably go with The Empire Strikes Back. Presumed Innocent deserves a mention though.
  12. Ah, and so they did. That's what I get for only paying attention to Blu-ray releases!
  13. Possibly, but Charade's already on Blu-ray from Criterion, and AFAIK not due to be rereleased by Universal this year.
  14. 1. Superman: The Movie ... The rest I actually have to think about. But I feel like Scott Pilgrim needs to be mentioned before this thread can continue.
  15. Yeah, 2,000 doesn't seem like near enough for a rare JW score such as this. But then I do tend to overestimate these things; I figured Hook would be long gone by now. I'm very excited about this release though. It's one OOP JW score that's been too cost prohibitive for me to pick up for a while. There are only a few copies of the previous editions on Amazon at the moment, and they start at $139.99 and $199.99.
  16. Another possibility: The Cowboys. I'd certainly snatch up the ones I don't have: Jaws 2 and, one of my favorites, The Eiger Sanction.
  17. I have not heard of this film Style, so I have no idea who would be scoring it. But as for whose style, based on this brief sample, I'd say Silvestri.
  18. Awesome news! I'm curious now to know the behind the scenes timeline of this whole "restoration series", and how it all unfolded. Because clearly it started before Wrath of Khan was even out (in July 2009). Perhaps by the end we will.
