  1. Just search for post from me, Steef or King Mark (apart other individual posts here and there). Then you'll have the best.
  2. Let's hope they do that. Otherwise, what can we invent now to create another 15 pages of nothing, until we get the tracklists?
  3. Not much longer. They CAN'T be complete, they're ONE CD releases!! Have you ever seen the movies? They're average 2 hours movies with average 1h40 of music, which are 100 minutes, which are more that 80! Which part of this simple mathematic operation is hard to understand?
  4. And you found something interesting to say just 3 times in almost 2 years? You're an empty person!! And yes, it's wrong to say Indy2 and Indy3, because they're called Temple of Doom and Last Crusade. 8O
  5. The newbie said Indy2 and Indy3! That's another no John Williams fan! Stefan, I didn't get the sense of your (and Neil's) post about me, if there was any sense at all. 8O
  6. Indeed. The complete scores (ToD and LC) are more than 80 minutes so, having a 1 CD release each, we already know we won't have a complete release no matter which tracklists we'll have, so it's better for their remorses if the people working on this release fill every minute available! Aww, I don't really care about that warning. I burned CD-Rs up to 85 minutes and they work perfectly, as the drive itself. Nope, I prefer double CDs releases. Double side discs looks...fake. This surprises me, but I admit I prefer the film version rather than the track it's on the album. I also know that it will not happen. Not Volume II CDs. But a thing like KM said, newly assebled CDs, would still be possible. You just have to wait. The box-set will be released on November 11, so I think that by the end of January the first bootlegs will pop up. Because I thought this is a place were one could have some nice and intelligent discussion about Williams' music, but now that I found out it isn't, I somehow can't get out. No you can't go. It's nice to see Natalie Portman so often. And no Stefan, before you say it, it's not the same if you put that avatar. But it made me come back! Thanks for not considering me one of them!
  7. I like the not-so-hidden love story that's borning between Stefan and MissPadmé, you're so niiice. Oh, for me it started with...Indiana Jones (all of the Trilogy). What a surprise.
  8. Then you get special cases like Alien where it is absolutely necessary to hear the score as the composer originally intended, even when many of those cues never made it into the final cut of the film. Then the film versions become the "alternates" and "bonus tracks". OK, but I don't think Temple of Doom and/or Last Crusade are cases like that. The only way to know that would be to have Indy releases with every note composed for the score. No wait, then I don't wanna know.
  9. Indeed. First they should care about the unreleased "regular" cues. Then, eventually, if there's still available space, then it's ok to have alternates (or concert arrangements as the "Parade of the Slave Children"). But I care much more about the music from the movie that wasn't on the CD. Which is a lot.
  10. exactly So, as we already have the OSTs, the more tracks from the OSTs they will remove, the more space there will be for unreleased music, and the more new material fans will have to make new bootlegs. And you consider this a distinct possibility? Well, dreaming is cool. Nah Miss...the movies themselves have so much unreleased music, that we just don't need to search among other resources to find the material for these releases.
  11. But in the end I agree with you Mark. I may sound selfish but I don't care if the new albums doesn't have some tracks (or even highlits) from the OSTs. That's because I own all of the OSTs so I'd love to have this new 80 minutes to be filled with the more unreleased music as possible. After all, nobody will be fully satisfied with this released no matter what, so there will be new bootlegs anyways (using tracks from the OSTS and from the new albums).
  12. The OST from Temple of Doom was so badly incomplete that removing tracks off of it would be even worse.
  13. It's Japanese!! Short Round would kill you if he reads what you've just said!!
  14. Do both of you have the Japanese import? I paid like 54 bucks for the Japanese one in 2004, but still is better than not having it at all. Today we're exactly 2 months away from the box-set. November 11 it's, for me, The Day That Never Comes.
  15. The last page of this thread, which is full of nothing, it's still much less boring that when the discussion turned out talking about Star Wars again.
  16. No just everybody's intelligence I still prefer Stefan to insult "everybody's intelligence" (using your words and your thoughts) rather than Lucas stealing everyone's music. Twice the pride, double the fall... How appropriate. You fight like a cow! Also notice that a lot if your posts are just the word "Indeed". (natural reply to this would be the other classic "That much is certain") More probably is one small step for the fan, one giant leap for Lucas' wallet. If that led to have more space on CD for unreleased music, than I'm all for it. Remember that there are bootlegs for Last Crusade which are made of only unreleased cues (which is pretty much what King Mark said some post after yours ). Steef? Have we met? Maybe he's Bruck from Hoorn.
  17. Well, everyone of us here would love that. But everyone of us here is not George Lucas.
  18. Whoa, one said 70 bucks, another 200!!! Can't we get somehow closer in between? Here's a similar theory of what I said earlier (prices in USD) Raiders 15 (because a similar expanded edition has already been released) Temple of Doom 20 (because it's new, and expanded) Last Crusade 20 (same as ToD) Kingdom of Crystal Skull 5 (because you can buy this anyways) Interview CD 10 (or even less, because people really care about the music...) So that's about 60-65 bucks. But it could be that the KoCS CD will be valued as its regular price so the box-set might cost higher. But then again, I will buy even if it cost 100 euros (even though I can always try to let this pass as a Christmas gift and get it for free )
  19. That would be nearly perfect, but it just doesn't fit on the total count of 4 CDs (which are 1 per movie). (Also, you've got mail, John). I think it's 4 single CDs, and, if they get to fill Temple of Doom and Last Crusade to almost 80 minutes like 1995's Raiders (and this Raiders too), this is a good thing anyways. I, being one who owns the OSTs, would prefer having only unreleased music on these new CDs (since I know that, with alternates and concert arrangements, you CAN have 80 minutes or almost of unreleased Temple of Doom and Last Crusade music) but that would be just to cool for fans to be true, since it's clear that they're making this to give the chance to have the original soundtracks (hence why they're reproducing exactly the covers) to those who doesn't have them yet.
  20. The one from the Greatest Hits compilation. Go here and click on the 3rd one (which is the only one from 1999).
  21. Damn, that's true. I think that, overall, they just want to see how much this will sell, and in case that this will sell as good as they want/hope, they may be doing further expanded/complete releases again. Unfortunately, Indy fans aren't lucky ad Star Wars fans, who got so many releases over the years. This, apart the 1995 Raiders (and obviously the 3 OST releases), is the only Indy related release ever (in terms of music, of course). And that's so bad. Screensavers?? Who wants/need them nowadays? Less useless contents, more music!! How can possibly cost this box-set? I'm thinkin' of an average of 15 euros per disc for the 3 main discs (counting the interview disc as less valuable, and the Indy IV score not expensive because it's available anyways) so I fear this won't cost less than 55-60euros (which are about 80 bucks, for those who use the wrong money). Use the "quote" feature, dude...it works. What kinda moonman language is that? (someone just HAD to say this, at a certain point)
