Surely.

But I didn´t like much how the whole film´s music was edited. I got the feeling it didn´t "flow" over the images, but was cut and thrown there as if playing baseball.

Well, my vote is AI. The Mecha World is brilliant, Stored Memories is very moving. Except for that overly sentimental Monica's theme... but it wasn't Williams fault, he said he tried about 5 themes to get something right for the film.

hhhhmmmm.... My vote goes to Harry Potter, although AI and AOTC come a close second.....

Harry Potter took an ax and gave A.I. forty wacks

when he saw what he had done he gave the Clones forty one.

No, the person that wrote the artical did, and it's not exactly confirmed, they could have just been assuming he was going to score it.

Ricard more or less help confirm Johnny boys involvement.

But my most sought after score is Minority Report. I will worry about

Harry Potter and the Room of Secrets(American Title, we don't know what chambers are) later. :wow:

Didn't he say in that CNN interview he was gonna score it?

Stefancos- who didn't actually see that interview.

I saw the CNN interview and John Williams did confirm that he will score The Chamber of Secrets along with Catch Me If You Can.

Mari - voted for Harry Potter

AOTC is my favorite score. I know that the Love Theme is my favorite theme, but the rest of it I have no apparent reason other than I just feel like it is my favorite. If anyone can think of any possible reasons as to my happiness with the score, I would be very thankful.

AOTC now, but I'm pretty sure A.I. will triumph when I recieve my 2-disc set :-)

-Mike, who thinks although it is a shame the AOTC score is chopped to bits in the film, even the bits from the other movies....fit in well. Kill me now if you must.

Hmmmmmmmm, no votes for The Patriot yet.

Neil

What's that supposed to mean?

~Harry

Just an observation.

Why not? Is there something huge that you don't like? Are there little things about it that you don't like? Please help me understand your dislike of it.

Please help me understand your dislike of it.

I find it to be quite dull compared to the average Williams score. It's a difficult listening experience for me, and I don't find any of it to be memorable.

What do you like about it?

Neil

I like the main themes. I am also a fan of war music. For some reason, I like the drum/flute pieces in it. I guess it comes from my like of studying war, and my like of the colonial days.

I personally don't care enough for the score to have ever bought it.

Joe.

once again agreeing with Neil.

Chris you really believe Patriot is better than Harry Potter?

Are you really Lucious Malfoy?

I think you are. You are obviously in league with Voldemort.

Joe.

I think the same!!! :)

I voted for A.I. because I think it's Johnny's best from the new millennium.

I love The Patriot. That main theme is one of my faves from ol' Johnny.

Harry Potter is pure magic, and Attack Of The Clones is, in my opinion, his weakest Star Wars score. Of course, the "Love Theme" is absolutely stunning, and the action cues are impressive.

So - in rank of my preferrence:

1. A.I.

2. The Patriot

3. Harry Potter

4. Attack Of The Clones

Dan - who thinks Minority Report and Catch Me If You Can will take 2nd and 3rd spots, respectively.

Dan2 - who believes Joe will be disheartened by his opinion(s). :(

My list is as follows.

1. AI

2. Harry Potter

3. Attack of the Clones

4. The Patriot

AI is brilliant, as I have said. Harry Potter is lots of fun, and the orchestrations are beautiful, so bloody pretty! Attack of the Clones might be the weakist Star Wars score, but it is still great. And the The Patriot is very good, I love the march and some of the other cues, but it isn't top level Williams.

I agree with you, Morn.

Dan - supportive of Johnny at all costs

:) "Airport Goodbye" from The Pelican Brief (Horner)........hmmm...I guess I shouldn't listen to Horner if I'm "supportive of Johnny at all costs..." ???

I guess I'll rank them, although it's kind of like favoring children . . .

1.) A.I.

2.) Harry Potter

3.) The Patriot & AOTC (tie)

A.I. is gorgeous, innovative, and completely unlike anything else I have heard. Harry Potter is such a fun, magical score, similar in that sense to Hook, but with its own unique "flavor." Like others have mentioned, I enjoy the war/patriotic sound of The Patriot score, and find "The Patriot" (Track 1/17) to be one of Williams' finest concert arrangements. Attack of the Clones is also great, with the haunting yet beautiful love theme and pulsing action music.

AOTC#2

A.I. #3

Patriot #4

Movie wise I would put

Harry #1

and

A.I.#2, I mean #4

Joe, who believes some people will understand, and I suspect Neil to say AOTC was #2, as I have said of A.I.
