1. Each round, you vote for what you think is the weakest score. After 24 hours, the weakest score will be knocked out, and so on, until there is only one score left - the winner.

2. Each poll is set for 24 hours, any votes AFTER that time won't register.

3. If there is a tie between 2 or more scores, in order to keep things moving along, ALL of them will be knocked out, UNLESS it is the last round where there are only 2 scores left anyway (otherwise both would be knocked out and there would be no winner).

Please report any errors *politely*. :P

As good as the Fury is, it just doesn't hold up among the remaining competition.

A tough choice. Alma wanted THE FURY (she always did have a soft spot for Kirk's dimple) but alas she doesn't wear the pants in his house. CE3K for me.

sadly, LOL, the emptiest most boring choice is still here...

I really hope you are not refering to CE which is easily one of William's best (if not the best) not only in terms of effectiveness.

And hardly most boring , definitely NOT the emptiest. I consider the SW as a Bible of the scores ,

Superman is the New Testament . And I'm running out of books in terms of CE , I hope it will win.

The book where CE3K swallowed a puzzled piece and the Man in the Yellow Hat had to take it to the hospital.

I'm curious as to why 4 people voted for Jaws. We're talking about the score here, with its impact, power, and effectiveness in the movie. With The Fury still up there, I don't understand how anyone can vote for Jaws at this point.

Jaws is a good, very effective score, with some outstanding bits. The Fury is a masterpiece from beginning to end, superior to Jaws in almost every way.

A walk in the park compared to what I'll do to those who DID vote for it.

I can't choose between The Fury and Superman. I've grown to thoroughly enjoy all of The Fury lately, while Superman starts off with some of Williams' best-ever material, and then fizzles away.

I guess it won't matter what I vote - The Fury is going anyway. :(

As a voter of Jaws ,I have to admit that I love the movie(easily in my top 3 list) and

I love the music in it. The sound of the OS is little bit crappy 70's but the collaboration

cd proves that the music is wonderful.

The Fury is more versatile music and the presentation in the soundtrack is great.

I've always been very curious about one thing: Are people voting in these polls

the music with the movie or music itself.

For me it is ,in the end , music itself.

I think it speaks volumes about The Fury's status and how much respect it's gotten since the complete score was released a couple of years ago that it made it this far. The only other ones left up there are four undeniable Williams masterpieces and four of his most famous and important works ever. That's pretty good.

Yes - I noticed that too......I dare say there are quite a few - including myself - who had no idea that Williams was connected with The Fury until starting to visit these boards....and certainly had no idea that it is as good as it is.....and now it is up there with the masterpieces....

sorry but the Fury isn't worthy of being a pimple on Jaws hindquarters, its not the masterpiece Jaws is.

Jaws is greater than any score left on this 70's poll.

As much as I enjoy it, Jaws is not greater than Star Wars, Close Encounters or even Superman (IMO)...

Shame about The Fury not being so iconic.

I remember liking The Fury, but not being blown away by it. I think I'll dust off my Deluxe Edition, and give it another listen - it's not even on my iPod. Perhaps my initial reaction to this score is due to the fact I didn't like the film...
