1. Each round, you vote for what you think is the weakest score. After 24 hours, the weakest score will be knocked out, and so on, until there is only one score left - the winner.

2. Each poll is set for 24 hours, any votes AFTER that time won't register.

3. If there is a tie between 2 or more scores, in order to keep things moving along, ALL of them will be knocked out, UNLESS it is the last round where there are only 2 scores left anyway (otherwise both would be knocked out and there would be no winner).

Please report any errors *politely*. :|

All 4 scores are among my favorites and I'm not casting a vote for Star Wars because it is the best out of the bunch to me. So it doesn't matter anymore but Superman draws the short straw.

Superman, by far. The first half is great but the second half doesn't hold up as well. That and I find March of the Villains obnoxious.

Jaws. I'm surprising myself a bit here, but as a listening experience, the first half of Superman has enough highlights to make me vote Jaws out first.

Marian's logic is flawless...

Jaws. It's a phenomenal score, and works phenomenally within the film. But then so do the other three, and although Jaws may be a more consistent score than Superman, it doesn't soar quite as high (or drop as low, but the highs are so spectacular!).

They're all phenomenal scores... JW pumped these scores out within 3 years of each other; it's an amazing achievement!

I'm surprised that Superman is getting so much votes, it is the best of the bunch in my opinion.

It has an incredible thematic and stylistic diversity, from the heroic march (two supes themes!), the atonalism and fanfare of Krypton, the incredibly moving parts of "Leaving home" and "fortress of Solitude", and there's more: the Helicopter rescue, the comic March of the villains (even if it is not to everyone tastes) and the love theme, one of Williams' very best, plus tons of little highlights, like "the trip to earth": not one minute of filler! Granted, Williams has written better action material, but mainly in the eighties, with ESB and Raiders.

None of the other 70s scores match that scope in my opinion. Only CE3K has something so special that it could be in competition. A great as it is, I vote for Jaws this time.

My honest answer for least favorite is the original Star Wars. I love it, but not as much as the other 3.

Very brave to be the first to say it. I take my hat off to you, sir. And now look, Star Wars has 3 votes! They were all waiting for your lead.

March of the Villians gets on my nerves, and I don't like the love theme, so I rarely listen to disc two.

ttbk, who still ranks Supes high, just not this high

Star Wars is the least of these 4, and yet they are all 5 star scores.

No composer ever composed 4 such great scores in a 4 year period.

They are all Oscar nominee's, and all are perfect.

Superman..."Leaving Home" & "The Flying Sequence" make me hesitate but I can't vote for the other 3 right now.

I'm suprised Superman is taking the hit on this one. Jaws is the weakest on that list for me. The themes are top-notch but it just isn't entertaining enough to keep me coming back to it.

CE3K. In fact, I think The Fury should still be here in it's place. And I'm also really surprised with the Superman results. I think it would be my number one.

you should listen to it more often, then, because Jaws is clearly the best of this lot.

All 4 are great scores and rank as some of the greatest film music ever written.

To be honest next poll I'll vote for CE3K and then Jaws in the final one.
