After 24 hours, the weakest score will be knocked out, and so on, until there is only one score left - the winner.2. Each poll is set for 24 hours, any votes AFTER that time won't register.3. If there is a tie between 2 or more scores, in order to keep things moving along, ALL of them will be knocked out, UNLESS it is the last round where there are only 2 scores left anyway (otherwise both would be knocked out and there would be no winner). Please report any errors *politely*. - - - - - - - - - - - In round one Conrack was voted off, round two Images, round three The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing and The Missouri Breaks, round four The Paper Chase, round five The Long Goodbye, round six Cinderella Liberty, round seven The Sugarland Express, round eight The Eiger Sanction, round nine Earthquake, round ten The Poseidon Adventure, Midway and Black Sunday, round eleven Family Plot, round twelve The Towering Inferno, round thirteen The Cowboys, round fourteen 1941, round fifteen Dracula, round sixteen Jaws 2, round seventeen The Fury, so your choices are:JawsStar WarsClose Encounters of the Third KindSuperman - The Movieor: I can't vote yet

Ollie 859
All 4 scores are among my favorites and I'm not casting a vote for Star Wars because it is the best out of the bunch to me. So it doesn't matter anymore but Superman draws the short straw.
Seth 66
Superman, by far. The first half is great but the second half doesn't hold up as well. That and I find March of the Villains obnoxious.

pixie_twinkle 44
Jaws. It's a phenomenal score, and works phenomenally within the film. But then so do the other three, and although Jaws may be a more consistent score than Superman, it doesn't soar quite as high (or drop as low, but the highs are so spectacular!). Trent B 317
For the hell of it I voted Superman. I can easily see Star Wars being the best for 70's score, if it isn't I'll be surprised.

Coco314 6
I'm surprised that Superman is getting so much votes, it is the best of the bunch in my opinion. It has an incredible thematic and stylistic diversity, from the heroic march (two supes themes!), the atonalism and fanfare of Krypton, the incredibly moving parts of "Leaving home" and "fortress of Solitude", and there's more: the Helicopter rescue, the comic March of the villains (even if it is not to everyone tastes) and the love theme, one of Williams' very best, plus tons of little highlights, like "the trip to earth": not one minute of filler! Granted, Williams has written better action material, but mainly in the eighties, with ESB and Raiders.None of the other 70s scores match that scope in my opinion. Only CE3K has something so special that it could be in competition. A great as it is, I vote for Jaws this time.

TheTennisBallKid 11
March of the Villians gets on my nerves, and I don't like the love theme, so I rarely listen to disc two.ttbk, who still ranks Supes high, just not this high
JoeinAR 1,759
Star Wars is the least of these 4, and yet they are all 5 star scores. No composer ever composed 4 such great scores in a 4 year period. They are all Oscar nominee's, and all are perfect. alfredo 0
I'm suprised Superman is taking the hit on this one. Jaws is the weakest on that list for me.
