I love the pizzicato string sections in John Williams music. They are usually the best part of the track.

These are the tracks I remember. If there is any one more, write it.

My favourite would be the crawly bugs random pizzicato in "In the Idol's Temple" from Raiders. As far as I know he was the first to employ this technique, and has appeared since in countless horror movies and about half of all X-Files episodes!

Oh, I assure you, it has been used before.

Figo, who's voting for Temple of Doom ("Nocturnal Activities") because it reminds him of a similar passage in Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony.

I picked Hook. It's been a while since I knew the tracks of that score by heart, but I expect Lost Boy Chase is the one where I've always loved the pizzicato passage. There's also that amazing tuba solo somewhere in that score. :)

Indy... oh and that technique with the spiders has been used before countless times, it is very effective
