Quintus 5,391
I remember on the Williams conducts Williams album that much was made in the sleeve notes about this "new" orchestra specially being formed to offer a quality alternative to the usual studio orchestras when it comes to scoring the latest films.I haven't looked into it, but the last time I saw the SSO on movie credits was Predator 2. So what happened?
Jediwashington 59
This is as far as I could find. It seems like they've done recordings for Hellboy also in 2004. As to it being dead or not, I don't know, but I assume they are musicians that are assembled when they need them. So I don't know what happend to them, but I assume they are not used very often. My guess is that they are expensive.~JW
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,251
They did a few Silvestri scores, and very little else.
Quintus 5,391
Well its a shame because they were indeed a talented group of musicians. Like Jediwashington mentioned, Lucas was probably being too greedy on the hire charges.
