Damon Vs. Kimmel: Kimmel's Revenge. Brilliant.

That's great. Pretty ridiculous number of cameos in it, especially for a relatively small show like Kimmel's.

Conan remains my favorite talk show host, but I enjoy Kimmel's show too. It's a far cry from The Man Show.

Here's that Verizon FiOS commercial with Michael Bay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRmTanlo8wU

Personally, I think it's hilarious because he's making fun of himself.

Here is a hilarious part of Jimmy Kimmel's interview with Sarah Silverman:

My girlfriend just found this... I don't know if it was posted already so my apologies if it has. I think it's pretty hilarious!

Yeah, I'm glad he acknowledges that. It's hilarious!

I really really really want to see that film.

It's entertaining and worth seeing, but it's not as good as Tommy IMO.

I'm generally not that big on these fan-made tributes....but I think this one is very well done, both with the images, and the selections of music. Not the greatest hits type most people use.

Superb video. Nice to see Lalo Schifrin and Henry Mancini in there, but the best part was the last one with Morricone's fantastic and haunting Man With The Harmonica. What a piece of scoring it is.

TGE - Off to listen to Once Upon A Time In The West.

I'd forgotten about the Barry piece. And I hadn't heard the Steiner piece in ages either (since the last time I saw Goonies ).

This is a clip for an old car commercial. I don't think it's that funny, but if you listen closely, I think there's a snippet of JW's "The Menu" from Jaws 2. Probably just a coincedence, but still fun nonetheless. It's really quiet, though, so make sure the volume is up.

Actually, that melody is from Haydn's 43rd Symphony, which you can listen to here.

I actually posted that because I was looking for clips of Superman: The Movie on YouTube. I haven't seen that movie in forever. The real Flying Sequence is just great; I should pick this one up on DVD.

The 'airport' scene from Midnight Express. I remember the first time I watched the movie late at night, my heart was racing just as much as his.

Their use of a heartbeat sound during this and how it gets loud and faster when the bag is grabbed, was genius.

Midnight Express : Airport Scene

And I have to say, it was on my mind at military checkpoints in Turkey :P

.

Wonderful  I loved the "The head, the Boy, the tail, 2 droids, the whole damn thing" part.

"I bumped into a friend of mine.........don't tell me....mother.....HAHAHA" 8O

It's the ultimate - "Stealing Quints thunder" video :|

Nice to see Spielberg's reaction on this one

And for all James Horner fanatics out there

The very first Horner comparison is a disgrace! The man had no shame!

To be fair though, the director of Glory (Edward Zwick) probably requested a piece which felt like O 'Fortuna. Horner being Horner took the directors suggestions a bit too literally. My point being that the cue from Glory is supposed to sound like that most famous of choral works.

Very true, so blatant :sigh:

But one of the commentarist has no shame either:

Set 2 (Ending chords):

Gustav Holst: Mars, Bringer of War

John Williams: Imperial March

I mean, Something from SW...OK, but imperial march? Nope.

And there are some similar gems down too.
