Which Star Trek (TOS) DVDs are best?

I'm going to buy the Original Series on DVD, but I don't know whether to go for the 2-episode volumes (with the orange spines) or the complete series box sets. The boxes would appear to be cheaper, but with import duty (I want the Region 1 versions) it comes out to about the same. If there isn't any difference in transfer quality or significant extras on the single DVDs to the box sets, I'll go for the singles, but I can't seem to find any such information on the internet anywhere... :?

I know there are a few Star Trek fans here :P, so I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

I'd say go for the full-season sets. The extras are good, and it's nice to have all those episodes together in a compact container. We've had them for a while, to replace the VHS set (I was just amazed by this yesterday, the fact that it took two shelves to hold the VHS collection, and now we have all three seasons that can fit in your pocket.

Despite what the Master says, season three has its share of gems along with the bad
