Thanks for the IMDB link! Wow, has this guy made a single good movie?

Anyway: Thanks to IMDB on this one. William Olsen directed something called Southern Belles. Apparently. It starred some nonentity called Amelia Martin, who once appeared in an episode of Dawsons Creek with Katie Holmes. Katie was in Batman Begins with Christian Bale, who was in Empire of the Sun. Phew. Can I go to bed now? :music:

Brody was in King Kong, directed by Peter Jackson. Jackson also directed The Frighteners, produced by Robert Zemeckis and starring Michael J Fox., who was directed by Zemeckis in Back to the Future, produced by Steven Spielberg, without whom most people probably wouldn't have heard of Williams.

Anyone notice that this is far too easy? Let's try someone slightly different... Sir Isaac Newton

Do Einstein next.

Einstein was a character in I.Q., directed by Fred Schepisi and scored by Jerry Goldsmith. These two also did Fierce Creatures together, which starred John Cleese, who plays Nearly Headless Nick in the Harry Potter series.

Of course, both Newton and Einstein could be solved through some Star Trek TNG connection as well.

Quoting from Wikipedia (I had to look him up):

Timothy Agoglia Carey (b. March 11, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York; d. May 11, 1994 in Los Angeles, California) was an intense American actor with a cult following who worked in multiple films with Stanley Kubrick and John Cassavetes.

Cassavetes was in The Fury, scored by John Williams.

Elina Garanca performed several pieces by Mozart, who was portrayed by Tom Hulce in Amadeus, who was also in Frankenstein (1994) which was directed by Kenneth Branagh, who was in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

or...

Gundula Janowitz frequently collaborated with Herbert von Karajan. Karjan's recording of "The Blue Danube" was used in 2001: A Space Odyssey, directed by Stanley Kubrick, who also directed Eyes Wide Shut starring Tom Cruise who was in Minority Report.

Next: Kiri Te Kanawa

Sorry to be rude, but "performed several pieces by Mozart" is really too easy. :) Besides, in that case you could have linked it to Branagh's Magic Flute adaptation. The Janowitz link is fine though (and for the record, they're both amazing; I hope to hear Garanca live again next season).

Kiri Te Kanawa performed Herrmann's Aria from Salammbo (sp?) on Charles Gerhardt's Herrmann compilation. Gerhardt also recorded albums of all three original Star Wars scores/concert suites and the CE3K suite.

As revealed in "The DaVinci Code," Alexander Pope presided at the funeral of Sir Isaac Newton, who was played in the BBC production of "Peter the Great" by Trevor Howard, who was a Kryptonian elder in "Superman." OR, we could use the DaVinci Code connection to get to Ron Howard and Tom Hanks and then, well, you know.

The longer route is often more interesting. Well done! :P

Olivia DeHavilland was in "The Swarm" with Ben Johnson, who as in "The Sugarland Express," Slim Pickens, who was in "1941," and the movie was directed by Irwin Allen, producer of "Lost in Space," "The Time Tunnel," "Land of the Giants," "The Poseidon Adventure," and "The Towering Inferno."
