Mr. Breathmask 480
So, I was browsing the soundtrack section in an Amsterdam record store today, and came across a copy of Williams' wonderful Far and Away. However, I already have mp3s of this (I know, I'm evil, yada yada yada). Instead I picked up Edward Scissorhands and An American Tail. Was that stupid?- Marc, wondering how the songs on An American Tail are...

Mr. Breathmask 480
Hm. I don't think I'd seen it before.Anyway, listening to An American Tail now. I had to do a double take. This is music by James Horner?
BurgaFlippinMan 7
I like An American Tail, both the movie and the music (though I've yet to hear the score on its own).
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,251
It's semi-rare.You can stumble across it in CD stores here on occasions, and you can fairly easily find it online I'm sure. Now the Far and Away volume 2 album, that's a whole nother matter. BurgaFlippinMan 7
what does Far and Away Vol.2 really consist of? Does it have a lot of unreleased music u can use to make an ultimate CDR of Far and Away?

Ray Barnsbury 8
Enjoy Edward Scissorhands, it's a classic! And I can forgive you for buying An American Tail over Far and Away, but only because you already had the mp3's. Seems like a pretty good Horner score. Anyway, F&A is kinda rare, yeah. I've only seen it a few times throughout the years. Who still hasn't made an Far and Away U.E.If demand is what you're looking for, I wouldn't say no to one of those. Â I've only seen it a few times throughout the years.Edward Scissorhands has already spent a lot of time being played here. I was a bit disappointed with An American Tail, because I had forgotten there were a lot of songs in the movie, and the back cover of the album doesn't indicate which tracks are songs and which are score. So I was surprised to find a lot of songs, while I was expecting an album filled with Horner score. The score itself is very good, though. Like I said, I had to check I was really listening to Horner. Whatever happened to this guy? Who still hasn't made an Far and Away U.E.If demand is what you're looking for, I wouldn't say no to one of those. Ray BarnsburySame here. Pieter Boelen 633
I bought it from the Fame music store in Amsterdam about a year ago or so. The next time I got there, they had another one again. They also have it at the library here. It doesn't seem overly rare to me, but it might be a bit rare. I'm pretty happy to have that CD.

Mr. Breathmask 480
Yeah, but they've been downsizing the soundtrack selection for years. fommes 126
You should have gotten all three scores, can't go wrong with any of them. American Tail is one of my fav Horner scores, by all means get its sequel too I made a complete Far and Away once based on mp3s of the second album, but I should redo it with my 2nd volume copy which I acquired in the meantime. It's worth it though I'd say.

Ray Barnsbury 8
Jane Eyre is lovely, one of my favorites...good find. I've never really been able to appreciate Empire of the Sun in its entirety, but the it has numerous highlights which are great, like "Jim's New Life," "Cadillac of the Skies" (the concert version from Greatest Hits is the best rendition), and "Exultate Justi."Ray Barnsbury
