Kramer 0 Posted August 30, 2006 Share Posted August 30, 2006 I found this to be cute:From "The Hollywood Bowl Cookbook"MAESTRO JOHN WILLIAMS' SALAD2 tablespoons olive oil2 tablespoons red wine vinager1 tablespoon Dijon mustard1 tablespoon honey1/4 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon pepper1 cup chopped barbequed chicken breast (below)1 cup deveined peeled steamed shrimp6 ounces garden rotini, cooked, drained2 cups cherry tomatoes1/2 cup cooked green peas1/2 cup thinly sliced celerylettuce leavesWhisk the olive oil, vinager, Dijon mustard, honey, salt and pepper in a bowl until blended. Chill, covered, in a refrigerator. Combine the chicken, shrimp, pasta, cherry tomatoes, peas, carrots and celery in a salad bowl and mix well. Add vinaigrette and toss to coat. Spoon the salad onto a lettuce-lined serving platter.Barbequed Chicken2 boneless skinless chicken breastsjuice of 1/2 lime1 teaspoon garlic1/4 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon pepperArrange the chicken in a dish. Whisk the lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl. Drizzle over the chicken, turning to coat. Marinate, covered, in a refrigerator for 4 to 5 hours. Grill the chicken over hot coals until cooked through, turning ocassionally. Cool slightly and cut into bite-size pieces.
