pixie_twinkle 48
America by Simon/Garfunkel? The "Yes" version is best!If you can use non-vocal pieces, Dvorak's "New World" Symphony (9th symphony) owes much of its invention to Dvorak's American influences. Hence the title. Er... obviously... Panthera 0
The Animaniacs sing a song that names all the states. I think they might have done one naming all the presidents too.Edit:http://youtube.com/watch?v=qm3_MO-JzUE for the states and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2YR80hTRmw for the presidents. John McClane 1
I didn't recall calling Marc "stupid" or myself "smart", I just pointed out the correct title. Don't talk when you're not being asked, or you don't know what we're talking about. Sometimes it looks like you feel forced to post in every goddamn thread... I'm interested in less than half of threads... Also, I think the Red Hot Chilli Peppers have a bunch of songs about California.Yeah! At least Californication and Dani California! And since you mentioned the Beach Boys, I add Surfin' U.S.A.I also think that many other Beach Boys songs can be considered a little part of America, like those happy-feelings songs like I get around, Wouldn't it be nice, Surfin' safari, Sloop John B, Barbara Ann, Fun fun fun, ...those doesn't have any direct reference to America, but are American classics, without a doubt.
