Ollie 859
Nah I'm not worried about being a snitch.I'm just amazed that someone will probably buy this considering all the info available on the web.But there are those out there who will buy bootlegs, hell Vosk admitted he was going to. Ollie 859
Those were a joke, probably taken from various compilation CDs.Another favorite of mine is the 2 disc Alien set that seems to go for well over a $100.00.

And that's not even a recording session bootleg... it's taken from the iso score, isn't it?
Ollie 859
It's usually listed as a 25th Anniversary Spanish Edition release. Probably is from the DVD iso. I got mine for free, just borrowed my friend's DVD.Some of my other favorite false auctions:There was another seller who was offering "official" 500 copy editions of the complete scores to Back To The Future and Star Trek Insurrection. Whoever did these sure went to a lot of effort to make them look realistic and claimed they were released by the studios. At one time there was another one called moviemusic label or something like that (Not to be confused with Peter Kelley's Moviemusic.com) who claimed they were releasing a limited 500 copy edition of Breakheart Pass. The pictures made the disc look official with their logo and barcodes. LaLaLand would officially release it a few months later.Going back to IJ, someone actually had an auction for one of the IJ rips done by someone here and even used the artwork. ckappes 29
This s**t editions on eBay are all counterfeits! If you want to have the ToD, I would buy the OST CD. And for the LC Score, I would buy the OST + the original pressed Vol. 2 CD.My rules: I ACCEPT PRESSED BOOTS IN MY COLLECTION, IF IT IS A LIMITED RELEASE, A NON-PROFIT RELEASE. I DO NOT ACCEPT CD-R'S, PROFIT BOOTS OR COUNTERFEITS!

robthehand 3
I'd consider buying a bootleg if it was (a) very cheap - probably under £10, and (B) not available from a DVD.

I will buy bootlegs, if it has more music than on the OST.For example, Indy3:I have got the OST + pressed Vol. 2 CD and I am very happy and proud of this edition! Kendal_Ozzel 32
I would only buy a bootleg if it was cheap and the if the seller openly admitted it was a bootleg. I don't buy from liars.Okay, I take that back; I still buy from Disney.

Red 73
I got my Hook boot (the 3-disc set) for free on this site. If given the opportunity, I would have probably bought it, if it was for a reasonable price, of course.

I've no problem with your purchases. I know that boots may harm the music business, but IMO, the music business, in an attempt to squeeze the consumer for all we're worth, haven't done enough to combat bootleggers, which is to lower the price point (licenses and all). So until this happens, they have no right to complain. My point is about distinguishing between boots ("profit" and "non-profit"). They're both illegal. Now, if you talk about composer-approved promos, then there's a fine line there.I also have some boots in my collection (and also try to limit myself to pressed cds); I would just not make a distinction. nightscape94 965
You'd hope that the people bidding on these items would realize the logic of buying the "25 Anniversary" edition of two scores for two films that are not 25 years old.Tim
